MasterClass Professional Heat-Resistant Safety Oven Gloves - Black

I was fed up using the old style single and double mitts, as they don't allow for a good grip, and I've never liked using tea towels or cloths.These fit my hands well, are comfortable, and grip really well.It's just the cuffs are far too long for me. When wearing long sleeved shirts and jumpers, the cuff bunches up.

I had seen a few adds in magazines and shopped around to find these. Superb gloves which grip without heat getting through to the skin. I use them all the time instead of just grabing a Tea Towel and having a wobly slippy grip hold a hot pan. They are perfect fit for me as I have medium size hand so if you have tiny hands they might not suit. Larger hands are ok as the glove expand to fit. I highly recommend them.

I had a cheap similar pair by an unknown manufacturer that have lasted about a year and half but were falling apart so invested in this relatively expensive pair by a well known brand. First use, I removed a tray of chips that had been at 200 degrees and had to very quickly put the tray down after approx ten seconds during the scraping of the chips onto a plate. It was then after placing the tray down I noticed two of the finger tip silicone grip strips had melted and glued themselves to my next finger across. So basically useless considering this was the first time using. If this is the quality and durability after one single use then the lifespan of this product is completely not worth the high price.

Does exactly what was needed.

I had a similar pair of these and needed to get a relative some as she was still using old style oven hands. These have a much higher cuff line than mine and non-slip silicone too. Invaluable in the kitchen and also great if you've a wood burner etc. Much easier than old style oven hands.

These oven gloves are good enough, although if holding a baking tin in your hand for 15sec+ or so serving dinner up, you will notice the heat a lot. I would suggest having a trivet to hand.Fine for taking stuff out of the oven and putting back in again when very hot (turning meats etc over)The gloves have thick material, good grip ridges and covers the wrist enough. They do not have any kind of "loop" to hang them up and do not protect from steam.Overall they are very good but I wouldn't say they are "best" you will ever own.

Have purchased these for myself but they have come out rather large, It would have been helpful to say the hand size of these, but in all they do exactly what they say they do.
