Smooth powder coated.
I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered this barbell. I opened it today and when I pulled it out of the cylinder ( nicely packaged) the bar felt smooth to the touch and very confortable. My husband said the powder coating is what gives it the smoothness (Engineer for aerospace)Size is accurate. Quality is great. Very well pleased with this barbell. I do recommend it.Thank you!

Great substitute for a fixed barbell! Just buy a sleeve adapter
Awesome barbell that is suitable for beginners or can be used as a substitute for the fixed barbells. Buy a sleeve adapter of 11", add it on, and you can use your olympic plates on this product.
