Excellent.
Just what I needed for my application. Putty like in consistency. Comes in a single roll, like a jam roll except the filling is the hardener. Just cut off as much as you need and knead it till the colour is consistent. BUT, be quick, it begins to harden immediately, you have about 4 minutes to get it applied to you job. Tip, to do a final smoothing, spit on your putty knife, no really, spit works great, or if you're too posh to spit use water, but its not as good as spit.

Great product
I have used this product before, and i think it is excellent. I used it a few years ago on my Kawasaki 750 V twin motorbike. A bolt loosened on the end of the balance shaft, and rattled loose and came out through the casing while i was riding the bike. The only damage was a hole in the casing. I had to remove the engine from the frame, to be able to remove the damaged casing. The hole was approx 10 mm in size, I cleaned it out with a a file, and tapered the hole inside and out, so that the quick steel would be like a rivet. I then cut a piece of the quick steel and worked it like putty until the colour was uniform. i worked it in to the damaged hole in the casing , and smoothed it off and let it set. When it had set hard, i was able to file it, and sand it down. The repair has been oil tight, and has has lasted for years. Make sure you clean and roughen up the damaged area before applying the quick steel.Sorry for the long winded review.

Tough stuff. Absolute Save.!
I sheared the head off a bolt at the back of my engine and only had a few mm of the bolt sticking out of the hole. Ordered the quick steel as a last resort. I Made a 1/2 “ sausage, dabbed it on the end as best I could. Let it cure overnight, it set solid.I Was now able to get my long reach pliers on it to twist and loosen. I Got the sheared bolt loosened enough, so I could then completely extract with my fingers. It had to be done very slowly and carefully. But this saved me an engine and gear box drop, to be able to get this bolt, for which I was quoted £1,500 for that massive job. This technique might not of worked first time, so I would have repeated this method, but luckily enough I got it at the first attempt….Thank you, and thank goodness for Quick steel.👍😉.

Honestly Awesome!
I am a single female and bought a motorhome to travel around Europe in. This little tube of magic lasted me the whole time, and I used it many many times. It worked in screw holes that had become too big (like when a screw was ripped from the wall) and I just added a bit in there and then put the normal screw back in. It was locked in there after that! Also useful for filling small holes in the weather stripping around the door, sealing holes permanently in plastic, and would even work to seal a hole in a tank.It stinks pretty bad when you’re first mixing it together but once dry there is no smell. Awesome fix-it magic stuff!!!

No good for use on an exhaust!
It seems to work ok but Don't use on an exhaust unless you like the smell of rotten eggs and loads of smoke coming from it!

Original and best
There are many versions of this out there on the market, but always found QuikSteel to perform the best.Handy for so many applications from filling cracks/breaks in metal, plugging a water leak, fixing a wheel on a chair, the list is endless. Easy to knead, easy to shape, dries quickly, and sets strong.
