Buen cable para soldar
Compré la de grosor de 0.8 y el tamaño es perfecto para soldar componentes electrónicos y cables pequeños! Se ve de muy buena calidad! Esperemos que la soldadura quede bien.

Bad Experience with the Solder
I don’t understand why this solder is rated so highly because it didn’t work very well for my soldering needs (electronic repair). Every solder joint I use it for looked terrible....dull almost like a cold solder joint. I tried multiple soldering iron temperature settings but always the same results. Posted question a electronics forum for advice and opinions and was overwhelmed by remarks that this solder is cheap Chinese junk not really intended for serious soldering of electronic components. I would return it but the return window has closed in just one month after receiving.... I’ve been a bench electronic technician for almost 45 years and never had solder perform like this. I got the sense it was intended for jewelry making.

EXCELLENT, professional quality, easy to use, fast-professional results
I do a LOT of automotive electrical diagnostic & repair work. I have been a certified MASTER auto through med tuck tech since 1990 while still in technical college and despite some pretty serious physical issues that have left me quite disabled (disabled veteran with substantial spinal damage, Coccyx damage, nerve damage and frequently INDESCRIBABLY chronic pain) though I still stay as current within this industry as possible, though Covid ended my records of attending at least 4 classes/year since I enrolled in Technical College fresh out of HS in Aug 1989! I had a call to see if I would be interested in "attempting" to repair a badly damaged wiring harness on a very "newer" vehicle as a replacement harness would be a minimum of 6-8 months and there aren't any in the scrap yards just yet. A harness that contained almost 80 wires was partially severed in a collision. Being most of this appeared as straightforward as electrical issues are concerned, I decided to at least attempt a repair. I did a lot of diagnostic/repair work for dozens of other shops when I owned my own and still do so, except no I do so at their shop for a minimum of $75/hour cash on electrical. I ordered this solder as I liked the specs & reviews plus I NEEDED the smallest diameter Rosin core lead free solder available for this job. I repaired just shy of 50 individual wires, used top quality MARINE grade shrink tubing as the shrink tubing has a water/moisture proof adhesive that has a very low melting point and not only physically glues the rather thick shrink tubing to the repair but completely seals said repair from all moisture and/or water intrusion which will quickly corrode the entire length of each wire and lead to catastrophic issues within 12-24 months afterwards. This solder also seemed to melt at a lower temperature than the "generic" stuff I bought by mistake prior to this which is a HUGE benefit when working on dozens of mostly very small diameter wires that are in a loom and all touching each other. I didn't damage a single other wire/wire insulation from attempting to get the wire hot enough to melt some of the low grade solder on the market today. IF you're an automotive/truck/equipment/marine tech./mechanic or simply have enough skill & knowledge to attempt this type of repair yourself, I believe you'll agree this solder is well worth the price! It's actually probably worth double...and coming from a usually broke disabled vet, that's saying A LOT! Honestly, I HIGHLY recommend this Rosin Core Lead Free Solder Wire for Electrical, Electronic, Connector, PCB Soldering; Sn97 Cu0.7 Ag0.3; By Mandala C

Melting point is too high
I had trouble getting this solder to melt even with extreme temperatures near 700F. I also had some minimal splattering of what I assume was flux from the solder in some cases (although only sometimes and I never got burned.) I can't return it because I already used some of it, but to put in perspective how high the melting point is:I was trying to solder some header pins into a circuit board. The plastic that holds the header pins together melted while underneath the board before the solder ever melted and the pin started to slide through, which was a pain in the ass because then I had to desolder this stuff which is difficult to melt regardless, making cleaning wick nearly useless for the task. I appreciated the thinness, but that was about it. Next time I will probably go with a different brand.

I was pleasantly surprised
After trying out lots of different solder brands over the past couple of years, I was surprised to find out how well this one performs. I got the 1.5mm version and it works really good. It flows and shines much like the Harris® solder you can get from Home Depot, which used to be my go-to solder (they are located like 1/4 mile from my house and no one else sells solder in this city!). Unfortunately, Home Depot has been sharply increasing the price of all of their leaded & unleaded solder, so I've been looking for a cheaper alternative, and this one definitely fits the bill. The included photos (ugly, I know) are just a small DIY project I threw together and was the first project using this solder... they are just examples of what the solder looks like after it solidifies. It is disappointing that you can only get the 0.8mm in the 100 gram size (the 100g size is LEAD FREE! Don't make the mistake I did and order it thinking it's just like the others!), because the 50 gram rolls contain much less than the product photos suggest! Having said all of that, I would definitely suggest trying this one out. Get the diameter you need even if it's only available in the 50g size, but just know that it's basically a sample size, and probably won't last very long. If you end up liking it, spring for the 100g (which is cheaper than ordering 2 of the 50g).
