Retro look plus great build and features are nice to have in audio equipment and this mixer has them
Don't bother too much doing Amazon reviews when they ask me to but I WANTED to do this one due to the item being great. As it's the first mic mixer I have ever bought I can't compare it, so I'll just say it does what it's supposed to do as far as I can tell. But it's the aesthetics and build I really like. I expected a lot less, to be honest. Maybe something lightweight and plasticy, but this is chunky and heavy for what it is. And you can't go far wrong in buying audio equipment by weight as far as I'm concerned. It's got a retro look - 70s, I'd say - and comes across as 'authentic' and 'professional'. The in and out sockets are brilliant. Gold edged and very solid, and everything is put together nicely in the metal casing. The volume/effects knobs pull right off but I love them anyway. The one thing that lets the product down very slightly as far as build quality goes is the on/off switch, which feels feeble and sounds tinny. Also slightly misaligned on the one I got.I had a good look about for a cheap mic mixer, and being as this one was amongst the cheapest, had adequate inputs, and featured a couple of effects knobs as well, it seemed like a good choice. I'm not making a lot of use of it at the moment. I'm planning to mic up a toy drum kit when I've finished fixing it to a rack, but a brief test with a couple of mics (headphones, actually, posing as mics) sounded very promising for what I want to do, especially with the inbuilt effects, which should give some control over the sound other than volume via the mixer.I'd definitely recommend this product.

The most useless pile of junk ever
It’s useless. It doesn’t work. Badly made shoddy design. Whether with a plug that you have to buy separately or with a battery, it’s seven shades of useless. Save you money. If you want an echo on your mic just shout loudly in a cave. That’ll still be more logistically do-able than plugging into this waste of metal.

Disappointing performance and quality - returned.
Disappointing performance and quality from a brand that’s usually an ok budget brand. Digital ‘effects’ were poor in quality, and the sockets were loose in the case. Returned.

Good bit of kit
I was looking for something that provided effects for vocals. I initially purchased a far more expensive unit with lots of different effects on it but I was only really using the echo reverb feature, so a pointless expensive purchase really. Then I accidentally came across this little inexpensive unit that provided reverb and delay which was pretty much all I needed so for the sake of just over £20 I thought I would give it a go. And I'm glad I did. It's nothing fancy. Just a unit with 4 mic inputs and an output to the pa system and 2 knobs for delay and reverb. Just goes to prove that sometimes the cheapest simplest thins are the best.very happy with my purchase.

Good Value Mono Mic mixer
I wanted a four input microphone mixer / pre-amplifier that has individual volume controls for each of the four inputs. The single mono output was connected to my own sound amplifier system. The mixer includes echo effects as a bonus. I used it with one input for my guitar and two others for microphone vocals and was very pleased with the results. It needs a 9v battery (inside) to power it. Good value for money, especially as it is less than 20 quid!!

Waste of time
Item arrived in box that looks like it was open. Couldn't get powered up by battery or transformer. Had to return as didn't work. What a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase this unless you don't mind having your time wasted

A nice little unit, at a good price.
Product arrived within a few days of ordering. It is well-built, well designed and seems to do its job very well. It has 4 regular jack inputs and one jack output. I have managed to link it to both an amplifier and my laptop, via a USB interface (which I already had). The repeat and delay options give a good range of effects.
