I got this to cut a piece of plexiglass that I really didn't want to break because I am really good at breaking plexiglass. While it did bend almost immediately, it bent back into shape and even kept on cutting with the same blade until I was done. So, kind of flimsy, don't expect to cut anything heavy duty with these blades. However, it's a good tool to have around for light projects. Comes with an X-acto blade installed, so that is also a plus.

This is a beautifully comfortable handle. I use it all the time. However, I did not need another hobby knife. I bought it for the blades. The saw blades. They are not true saw blades and do not work as so. Maybe Im the ignorant one. Idk.

I had extremely high hopes from the other reviews. The handle feels amazing, the blades come in the original square they were cut from, and when you twist them out, they have sharp snappy points where it was connected. The blades are also not 'thick', they are not 'sturdy'. I bought these to cut 2x2 thin square wood peices, and it took way too long to cut anything off of them. This tool would be good for cardboard but definitely not wood, and I dont see how it could even begin to cut resin like it claims in the description.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Truly disappointed. Great handle but the blades are just stamped out and are not sharp at all. Wouldn’t give blades even a one star. Trying to cut basswood which is soft and nothing happens. Took forever to cut 1/8” stock.The should figure out how to sharpen blades . Sorry but no stars on blades. 4 stars on handle

Purchased this knife saw kit for our Christmas display which seems to get bigger every year the kit will work nicely for cutting different homemade items and the display layout,wife wants to add a four foot by six foot addition

What you are buying here is a truly well thought out handle for model crafting. This is the best craft knife handle I have seen in years. It has some heft to it while being very comfortable and very secure. It's not likely to slip in your hand making it a safe handle to use with sharp blades. The saw blades are stainless steel and not too thin. You get two each of seven shapes plus a number seven blade already in the handle. The best of a bunch I bought. If I had bought this first I might not have bought any others.

Beyond infuriating to work with. The tool like normal xacto knives uses a tension turner to keep the cutting tools in place. This is the worst possible thing for a saw. The sales are dull and made out of the flimsiest material I've ever used. The handle is okay but I spent more time holding the blade to keep it on track.
