Received 2 in a row that were junk.
Hard to tell if this is a Hover1 problem or an Amazon Problem. Bought the first one from Amazon Resale which was supposed to be "Like New" and it showed up broken and wouldn't charge or turn on. Returned immediately. Bought the second one that was also supposed to be "Like New". Same exact issues. Getting very tired of playing this game with someone else's returned crap. Be very aware of what you receive, especially if you are buying as a gift. Check it before you give it.

Dead out the box
I have another Hover-1 that is not working after just 2 years. This one was an upgrade but was dead on arrival. Simple instructions to lay on the floor and hit the power button and nothing. You think they could have done that before they put it in the box.

AWESOME light show
The media could not be loaded. This board is amazingMy granddaughter simply loves it. It’s a smooth ride. The light show is whimsical and the lights make sound and strobe different colors. It’s easy to operate. The base is large. The board is very sturdy and heavy. Top of the line quality. Works well on carpet and on the sidewalk. We charge it nightly so it is ready for the kids after school. One full night charge last a couple of hours of play. Highly recommend

Poor Quality
We have bought many Hoover boards and this one broke as soon as my son stood on it. He is 11 and weighs 70lbs, so was well within the weight limit parameters. The charging port is also very difficult to get the chord plugged into due to ots shape and placement. I would recommend sticking with a basic hooverboard over this model.
