These work great and are reasonably priced. Work great in my ArcCaptain TIG torch on my machine!
Teaching my son to weld so I picked up a TIG gun for my ArcCaptain MIG 200 and ordered these tungsten rods so I could practice my TIG skills (it's been about 25 years since I had done any TIG). At first, I had some MAJOR issues until I realized the issue was me as I had forgotten to sharpen the tungsten prior to trying to weld with it. After that little tidbit came back to me and I sharpened the rod, I had no issues as all. These rods performed perfectly and after about 30 minutes, I was back to laying nice looking TIG beads just like I was 25 years ago. These were also very reasonably priced so that is a big plus. The "review ideas" as I'm typing this mention sharpness so I do want to add the reminder to not be like me and make sure you sharpen them as they are not pre-sharpened (most of the name brand tungstens at our local welding supplier are pre-sharpened so had these been, I probably would have rememered that info sooner).

Bad batch, Seller made things right
Had a bad batch but seller was kind to make things right even after the refund window.Electrodes split while grinding. It’s like they’re contaminated. 3/32 I sharped the first one, it split before I got even get a point. Cracked full length. Started the second one, split again. So I tried the 1/16, those ones were fine. The material is super porous as well, chunks just fly off the tips and it doesn’t get a good smooth finish even on the 300 wheel. Seems like the 3/32 batch was bad. Seller reached out and sent a replacement.

Work well
These replaced some mixed rare earth electrode that claimed to be compatible with aluminum, but made lousy welds. These are far less fussy than pure tungsten and seem to hold a steady arc and tip. Did some pulsed welding a couple days ago with really nice results so they hold the arc on the amp down swing just fine.
