Great mid-priced ddr5 motherboard.
I set this up with a i9-13900FK, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB 7200MHz CL34 DDR5 Memory, Palit RTX 4070 Ti Gaming Pro Oc , Kingston KC3000 2TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD, MSI MAG CORELIQUID P240 AIO CPU Cooler.Build was very straight forward with no surprises.Booted first time, it cycled through the hard drives automatically until if found the drive with an OS.Had to up-date the bios to be able to set the memory speed 7200. This was very straight forward via the bios update usb port and the Q-Flash utility in BIOS Setup.Used the Intel Extreme tuning utility’s default settings to slightly over clock the CPU. Standard core speed 5600 for P and 4200 for E overclocked to 5800 P and 4400 E.Ran Time Spy and got overall of 22775 – Graphics score was 23009 and CPU was 21535I built this PC to run CAD and it ran the Ocus v7 benchmark in 443 second, which at present is the fastest on their league table, beating the likes of Dell, HP, NTSI etc!I think it would run a bit faster with a custom cooler set-up to run the CPU super cool. This is nothing to do with the motherboard and more about only running a twin fan AIO system. Now for the 4 star rating:The documentation is poor compared to the likes of MSI and ASUS. The bios and utilities are a bit clunky. So not the best if you wish to overclock more than the supplied tuning utility.Overall, I think this is a great motherboard if you are building to a budget and if you want more you will have to spend a lot more for a motherboard and CPU cooler.
