PentelPencil Lead Holder and Lead Set, Multi 8 Set (PH802ST)

I had used one of these pens for about 15 months, purchased in Japan, and when some "Tea Leaf" stole mine from my briefcase I thought I would not be able to get a replacement.But to my joy Amazon had it, and I had this new one in my possession in three days from losing my old one.Very happy with the service and the quality of my replacement.

This is one of my favourite mechanical pencils.It's not too heavy to hold for long periods.The coloured leads are smooth and creamy, which makes drawing with them a real pleasure.The colours are vibrant and all work well together. Yes, the yellow is quite light on white paper, but that's to be expected.A little care is needed when switching colours round, ensuring that the lead has properly returned into the pen before rotating the clip to select your next colour. There's enough resistance that you shouldn't break the lead though.Overall this is a really great product. I bought the set with a complete set of 2 spares each of all 8 colours. I think this would be enough to last for quite a while.You can use other 2mm leads, but you will need to cut them down to the right length first.Great for highlighting text in books, bullet journalling and under drawings/sketches. I love the Non Copy Blue for sketching.

This is good pencil but it don't eres easy

A friend and fellow artist recommended this pencil set to me and I am not disappointed. The mechanism is a little fiddly but quick to get used to and it works really well.The pencil is well put together and sturdy. The colours are bright and strong and perfect for sketching on the go.

Not too big and very convenient. It works as advertised. Only negative is that it cannot take standard 2mm lead as the ones supplied have a metal wrap attached for them to work. Sharpener works great. Good selection of colours.

This is a good product.The colours that are meant to be strong are. I don't know how robust the pen will be with repeated use, but so far it seems fine.I wondered if the pen would be too thick and bulky but it is much slimmer than I thought it would be and it sits easily in my moderate sized male hands.I have bought more as gifts for female family members and believe they will like them.

Great multi pencil, really unique, its quite delicate so make sure you know what to do before using it so you dont break it.

Looks great except for the sharpener and the 2 lots of no copy leads missing... bit of a let down.I'm sure its going to be brilliant for taking out and about with my little sketch book.
