Adds colour to curries, that's it. Don't use too much though. A little goes a VERY long way!
I mix my own spices, and I add this to my Tandoori Masala spice jar, as the ready-mixed is too salty. Perfect, but be careful! If you're adding it while cooking, use tiny amounts as it is very deceptive. If you are adding it to dry spices, again use a little and test a small amount of the spice mix with water before adding any more. You will be surprised at how little you need to add to get a very red colour. I put 5 stars for flavour, simply because there was no added taste as far as i could ascertain. Would (in fact have) deffo buy again.

Colourful Carp Attractant.
I bought this purely as an attractant for Carp fishing. I add it to groundbait or Particlemixes. It adds a lovely red cloud when mixed with dried milk in a particle mix. I have also added the colour to various hookbaits I have made (Soaked Sultana's is a favourite). Use in glugs or to add colour to a home made attractant to give you an extra edge in catching the illusive carp. Carp seem to absolutely love it.I'm sure there are many more uses for this ingredient, but if you're a Carp angler, I recommend giving this a go. For the price, you can't go wrong - Absolute Bargain to attract more fish.

Good stuff
Ok nothing about food colouring is ever going to be healthy but if you cook Tikka or tandoori and want the red colour to your food then this is what you need. Its red, its food colouring. Its perfect for tikka.
