Very clever and useful item which you don't need but might really want
If you own a Breville machine, this clever item is quite effective and useful. To be sure, you absolutely don't need this thing, and a knock box works fine. But even with care, a knock box results in a bit of a mess with coffee grounds scattered in the blast radius of the box. It's very easy to set up. Basically, insert the batteries and begin using it. After extraction, just place the inverted portafilter over the opening and wait a few seconds for the puck to be extracted. You can tell this is complete either by listening for a thud, or for a change in the pitch of the motor. Or just wait 5 seconds or so and it will be done. If you have a very watery puck, it might take a few seconds longer.Be sure to keep the portafilter level and fully seated against the gasket in the device to achieve suction. Basically, you want to avoid tilting the portafilter. If you fail to extract the puck after about 7-10 seconds, you are almost certainly not achieving a seal due to a tilted portafilter. The device looks nice and the fit and finish are commensurate with the top-end Breville machines. I have the Oracle, and it pairs perfectly with it. After a bunch of pucks fill the reservoir, you just remove the top, dump the pucks and rinse the container and go on with your life. This thing simply works, and if the price is worth it to you, just get it. Are you still reading this? I can't think of anything else to type. Oh yeah, no one paid me for this review, and I bought this thing of my own volition, and I'm not a bot. I'm an actual customer.

Works Well and Improves Espresso Experience
I have had this puck sucker for about a month and so far I have been very pleased with its function. What I am really pleased with though is its clean and neat appearance on my coffee bar. I don't always clean the puck box out every time I use my Oracle Touch and this device hides the used pucks in a more attractive container than a standard puck box. It looks cleaner and reduces any stale coffee odors. My coffee bar is cleaner overall due to not having coffee grounds spatter on the counter or walls. Battery life is good. There are times that a drier puck will be more challenging to remove but persistence and repositioning has been successful. It's a bit expensive but overall I'm very pleased with the results and appearance.

Disappointed
Breville products are usually amazing. This one works about 20% of the time.

A quicker, quieter, cleaner puck removal
I'm in love. The Breville 58mm Espresso Puck Sucker does exactly what is says. Some have complained about the fit not working, but if you have the 58mm Breville portafilter, this is what you need. No more banging on the counter, trash or knock box. I bought this to remove the used puck quietly and cleanly and this does that. The container is also very easy to clean up, much better that the original knock box that came with my Breville Oracle Jet. The build quality seams good and since no banging needed, should last a good while. For quicker removal of the puck, make sure you hold the portafilter level to get a better seal. Only takes a few seconds at most and you can feel when the puck is sucked out. Glad I bought it and I'd recommend to anyone that wants a quicker, quieter, cleaner experience.

Only works with double wall filter
This works great for double wall filter, but can't get enough suction to work due to the holes in the single wall filters. Since the Breville Espresso machine came with the single wall installed, we couldn't get this to work when we first set up our machine and puck sucker. We called a millennial for advice as we couldn't find useful help online. Eliminates the mess of a knock box.

Great product.
I have enjoyed using my PS from the moment I unboxed it and set it up. Saves me from having to go to the garbage repeatedly. Very reliable, low noise. Holds at least 10 pucks of spent grounds. Easy to use and easyto clean. A complete joy. Makes making espresso drinks less laborious and time consuming.

Good looking and ok
First of all, it’s a very beautiful piece on the table. Secondly, it’s noise free-when it works. I have found it not working when the puck is wet (like you are making the second cup right after the first one). And when it works, it’s not a clean suction of 100% coffee grinds, there’s always a ring of coffee left that you have to wash off.

Best Investment Ever
I have to say this by far has felt like the best investment I have ever made. Before getting this, we either had to bang the thing on our counter or use a spoon to scrape out the coffee pod. With this, it has been a simple 3-5 second process and the coffee pod is out. Price seems very good for what it does. It’s very easy to use although it did take us a little to learn and get it right. Cleaning it is easy, just rinse the tub and wipe down the top piece. Size it perfect, not too big or too small. Would highly recommend!
