RAK Tonique Soft Close Toilet Seat

worked really well but at first i did think it wouldnt fit. however after watching a youtube video on how to remove the old one and put this one on, it was all very easy.

Happy with the product

The product arrived promptly and was the lovely quality I expected. However, the last loo seat from RAC only lasted 2 years, the self closure mechanism failed to work after that. Hoping that this one lasts longer than that.

Unfortunately the product, which was well produced packed and protected on prompt arrival, was not compatible with the item it was to replace. The location holes in the seat were at different centre dimensions from the one it was to replace. Regrettably had to return....

Developed a fault a few months after installation. Seat does not close now as it should. Drops down with a bang! Don’t buy!

Does what it says 'on the tin' and so easy to replace. Ideal for rimless toilets

It took a bit of searching to make sure I had the correct seat. I couldn't see any indication of the model on my Rak toilet. Fitting was remarkably easy with a push button release for the old seat and the new one just clicks into place.

First sear purchased cracked within a couple of weeks. We noticed it happened over night with no-one using. Second seat cracked on opposite side. We were told it’s a known fault. The first seat was replaced free for the second one with ‘allegedly’ deeper pads on the seat base which is supposed to raise the seat to the level of the hinge to stop the cracking. Clearly that doesn’t work. Past it’s guarantee I am sure the shop will no longer replace the seat but … if it’s a known fault I would expect a free replacement again. I will write to RAK also.
