Great for spare to take on trips, or have in office
Took a bit to set up with controls being on the back. Got a few to give out to family. Great price.

Great little clock at a great little price!
I don't know what the price of my first digital clock was, but I don't think there was much change for 25 pounds and they had to be plugged in - now we have them for the price of a craft beer!Starting by reviewing the reviewers I have no idea what some are talking about unless they have a faulty model. If you read the instructions (yes small print get a magnifying glass!) and make sure you are pressing the right buttons (they are marked) this should be up and running in five minutes tops. Same as any other modern clock I have ever set. You cannot set impossible dates (problem with other reviewer?) so make sure you are in the right year - but that is common sense surely? The temperature is bang on and I measured it against the home thermostat to check. Starts too high on the get-go but quickly adjusts. Remember different parts of the room will have marginally different readings. Also putting it against/near a radiator or a strong lamp may give false readings. The downside is that the alarm speaker isn't that loud and there is no inbuilt light to check the time during the night. If this is important look elsewhere - but you always pay extra for such things. At the price point I can't complain or give anything but top marks.

Cheap portable (almost throw away) no nonsense alarm.
This clock is useful as a travel alarm. The time keeping is reasonable but nowhere near the accuracy of a radio controlled timepiece but that would not be expected in such a cheap device. The display is legible and one sided (not see through like some). The construction is very lightweight and for transport the clock folds up quite compactly into a reasonably thin rectangle (say half a pack of playing cards). One drawback of the design is that the buttons are exposed when folded and so settings may be altered in transit. There is a choice of eight inevitably tinny and generally inappropriate alarm tunes (Auld lang syne!) . The first innocuous rings are possibly the best. On my model the volume is quite low but that may be due to the state of discharge on the supplied battery. Turning the alarm off involves fumbling behind the display, also there is no backlight.Overall a functional device for occasional use, if better quality is required buy something more expensive.

Difficult instructions
Instruction leaflet not clear, does not give all the info needed on how to do things. Could not work out how to change the alarm wake up call from playing We Wish You a Merry Christmas! Also, having not been able to unset the alarm for days when I didn't want it to ring, somehow I did manage to do it by default but now can't work out how to turn it on again! The clock looks fine but there is no back light (or if there is I have not idea how to set it).

A very attractive little clock ....but!
I found this very nice looking travel alarm clock & am pleased with its looks & functions , but as other people have stated it is a devil of a machine to set up, partly because the instructions were written by person with a poor understanding of the English language. I have still not got all of its functions working, one tip, if want to set up the alarm then don't expect it to play a tune , the alarm only works as an alarm call. If you select a tune the a differentsymbol appears on the screen & that is what may wake you up, but the sound is so faint it will have to be right byyou ear ! Getting it to display the right day is another matter , I think Einstien would have had a problem with it.

good little clock
I have bought this for my car, i will be using velcro to fasten it to the dash. Bit fiddly to set up ,took a couple of goes. Not sure how bright it will be at night, slim and light weight.

Staggering Value.
I do not often write reviews, being a busy boy, but this little clock is tremendous value for money. Very easy to set up and exceedingly easy to read and very designer designer!

Very difficult to live with
Clear display and the it is light and compact. On the other hand the alarm volume is very low, not enough to reliably wake me up. I cannot find any configuration to turn off the alarm. Others have the same issue, see other reviews. The only way to prevent the alarm going off is to remove the battery. Timekeeping is poor, it gains a minute or so a day. Process to set the time and alarm is infuriatingly obscure. Snooze button is very difficult to find in the morning. Really their are much better options.
