I was afraid by the weight of this radio compared to the old Piooner I am replacing. Weight have or maybe less. Everything works well.Apple car play is only wired. Also people say on phone calls that sound clearly.

This radio is a great radio when it works. I’ve had luck when buying it new. It seams to only last about 2 years for every day use in a black car in the Texas heat. It’s very easy to use and install and the 5v pre-out sends great power to the amps. But if you plan on buying the refurbished radios please don’t waste your time. They all only last a few hours and then stop working. The fuse in the back of the radio is still good so I’m not sure how these broken radios have slipped through their quality control. I have bought 7 of these radios in the past 3 years and I have only gotten one to work past the warranty cutoff. Again this is an excellent radio if you buy it new but I would steer clear from the refurbished models.

Very simple to use and the default EQs are great and the sound quality is on par. I mainly use it for Apple CarPlay so i can’t speak for the android audio. I do wish it had a little more customization for the screen brightness and the display warmth but this is everything I was looking for.

Great sound and experience. Only complaint is that Android auto / Apple carplay only works when wired via USB. So when using that while driving, it goes out every time you hit a bump.

No support to reach. Bluetooth doesn’t work for sound for cell service. Very basic.
