I had abdominal surgery in the first part of December and the surgeon gave me a small tube of this product. It is like chap stick so it is easy to apply. My scar goes from armpit to armpit and the tissue closest to the armpit has a little roughness to it on both sides. I have been using the product for about a month and I am seeing positive results. I assume that I will be using this long term but the results so far are encouraging.

ScarAid is like a lip balm stick, so I can carry it in my pocket and use it several times a day. I started using it a couple days after my stitches were removed and after a week the redness of the scar was gone. I’ve used it for a little over a month and the scar continues to disappear. I’ve started using it on some old scars and it’s helping.I’ve continued to use ScarAid on the recent surgery, and it looks better. I started using it on old scars and I see improvement.

UPDATE: Wish I’d known to order just after surgery. Noticeable improvement after a couple of weeks of twice daily applications.Am two years out from a robotic procedure with minimal scarring, and wish I’d known about this “scar stick” back then. Have healed well, yet hoping it’s too late for further improvement. It’s too early to know for sure, but I think I already see a tad of improvement on central scar wiyh the largest Tro car placement.,

Highly recommend!!! The stick application is exactly what I was looking for. It’s easy to use & doesn’t require me to waste product by dipping my finger in a tub or spraying. It’s similar to a chapstick application, so easy to use. It’s so soft, it feels like some sort of luxurious product, which I was expecting. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this product, I can’t wait to see the results.

The product is advertised with having silicone it has zero silicone in it and it is not eligible for return which is not what the website says. Do not buy I will not buy again and you might as well eat your money if you do

Goes on easily, convenient to carry and apply. Melted along the scar line and went right into eyes. It stings. Probably says don’t use around eyes somewhere in the directions I didn’t read:(

This is an excellent scar management topical product. I recently had a visible scar that my doctor recommended I use a silicone product to help with scar reduction. I found ScarAid gel stick, and I have been applying it for at least 3x/day for about 5 weeks now. I’ve noticed that it protects my skin and keeps it moist while during the healing. It has improved the size and color of my scar. Also, as a bonus, I can carry it around and use it since its like a chapstick application and its discreet and doesn’t draw the unwanted attention if I bring it out.Would highly recommend this for someone who wants scar reduction and management

I decided to try this after using silicone gel. This stick form of silicone just didn’t do it. It’s tiny, and the product is very hard. It doesn’t apply or rub in easily. I only used it a few times and went back to the silicone gel.
