Works well, costs little
This is a more than honest deadcat and the price is hard to beat.

Great value.
This a good value, used for my gopro cut it into pieces, instead of buying those expensive ones that people sell "specifically designed for gopro" do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on those.

Made for use in conjunction with a foam cover, not by itself
I am normally not one to write a review of a product but after reading the other reviews of this dead cat I feel like I need to correct some information that others have shared. This dead cat is designed to fit OVER the foam wind sock that comes with most shotgun microphones. I purchased 2 for my Sennheiser mkh-416 and my Sony ecm-670 and with the foam covers under the dead cat they fit perfect. The idea behind this is to give an extra layer of protection against the wind and without the foam inside it will not really help. One thing to note, this thing sheads just about as bad as my husky... Recommend a plastic bag to cover it when not in use.I purchased these for an outdoor recording session I am doing in 2 weeks and will update this review with how they preform in the wind at that time. For reference I went with these over a blimp I needed portability and I don't expect to fight that much in terms of wind. This will not replace a full blimp system in terms of the capability to reduce wind noise, but it will be miles better that nothing or even a foam cover by itself.

Poor results in wind
I used on my Rode video mic with poor results in 10 to 15 mph winds videoing a marching band at football stadium.I need something better.

Definitely buying again
My fiancé loved it, he does youtube and he was trying to figure out how to minimize sound and wind in his videos, thanks to this product now he can.

Fits well over Røde Videomic
The original foam cover on the Røde Videomic isn't designed for outdoor/windy environments. This windscreen fits over the foam mic cover, allowing us to use the Røde Videomic for outdoor shoots.

One Star
The quality is poor. The sounds keeps going in and out

Way to big
Way to big for my Rode MTG4+. It doesn’t hug it at all. It’s like putting a giant sock around it. No inside padding.
