DJ deck looks with real audiophile sound quality.
My much loved modified Project RPM 5.1 belt drive turntable developed a motor fault which at the time seemed uneconomical to repair. I already have an Audio Technica AT-LP5, a direct drive turntable which I like a lot but felt the Project was better for serious music listening. Therefore, I began a research for a replacement belt drive turntable, similar in performance to it, but I was persuaded not to be close minded about listening to other direct drive turntables. To cut this saga short, I stumbled upon the Reloop RP-7000Mk2 and Pioneer PLX1000 DJ type direct drive turntables playing in a domestic situation sounding like high grade audiophile decks playing a wide range of musical styles from classical to reggae. My prejudices against such turntables quickly evaporated as it became clear that with the right cartridge, on a revealing audio system ( particularly using a high quality phono stage such as the excellent Rega Fono Mk3 ), these record decks were every bit as good if not better than my Project. So I decided to buy the Reloop over the Pioneer simply because the Reloop was less expensive yet sounded just as capable as the Pioneer and it is just as well constructed. It is supplied without a headshell which meant using ones by Audio Technica and Ortofon and I continued to use my Audio Technica AT 440MLB, a recently purchased Audio Technica VM95SH and a Nagaoka MP110 cartridge which I mostly use on the LP5 plus I have added a Funk firm Achromat platter mat sl1200 version and Premium Quality disc stabilizer which have proved to be pretty effective in improving the sound quality even further. The 7000Mk2 allows all these cartridges to demonstrate great detail retrieval, wide ranging dynamics, wonderful rhythmic timing and tremendous bass power and articulation. I have since repaired the Project but have not missed using it and is now my spare deck.Considering the Reloop is primarily designed to be used in dance clubs, it is one hell of an audiophile sounding turntable that would not be expected by its DJ deck looks. It makes me wonder whether the huge amount of money that can be spent on some highly regarded belt drive turntables is worth it, when a truly audiophile sounding DJ deck direct drive turntable can be bought for relatively low cost.Highly recommended, forget your pre-judgements of DJ decks.

Great value decks for the price.
Reloop 7000's are absolute quality & a bargain for what they cost. The torque on the motor has the power almost akin to Pioneer mk7's.Sound quality is excellent no hum & very little distortion when played loud.I myself am very impressed with my set & wouldn't even think of upgrading as I said an excellent deck for the price.

Not bad at all.
Great turntable, speeds are awesome, acts fast minor flutter (more than the SL1200) but this is a great alternative honestly best investment I've made in a while.

Reloop 7000 mk2
If you're after a turntable then I certainly recommend this ... Screams quality, really solid and weighted.Fantastic direct drive motor with reverse function as well as pitch control... yes it's meant to be a DJ turntable but I'm using on it's own with a old kenwood amp and the sound is amazing.... the only down side is you need to buy a needle and dust cover lid but I can't recommend this highly enough 5 stars from me.

Decent turntable!
Excellent build quality at a fair price. Not a Technics 1210 MK2 but definitely a serious competitor to the 1210 mk7 at almost half the price.

Get Loose
This is a super sturdy record player. I bought it to replace a SL1210 which wasn't working so well anymore and frankly I think it is a superior player. It holds the pitch beautifully and the reverse play and +/-16 function gives you much more flexibility to get loose.Highly recommended.

Pitch Control is fine
I love these. I have no problem with the Digital pitch. They are built like a tank. I also own SL12.10,s. I mix Deep House :)
