I noticed the rear shock on my rustler were short when I picked up second hand. Realized they had front shocks also on the rear so it looks like it was bulldogging. Seen these and the match my color scheme and after reading the reviews I gave them a try. Everyone said to change the oil that comes in these and I see why. Very soft dampening and rebound. Used losi 30 wt and it helped big time. Installed and preloaded, these shocks work great on a basher decent quality and great value for the cost.

-They are bigger than ultra shocks.-The shock shafts are to long. I used o rings on the shaft to compensate. You can also use fuel tubing too so it dosnt slam the shock shaft into the shock cap and bend.-The 2 piston holes are over 2mm wide and the pistons arent properly sized a ton of play i want to say 13mm definitely not 12 because gtr pistons dont fit at all. I took a washer and covered the holes and run no holes works alot better since the piston is so loose.-I used o rings at the top to seal the shock caps because i was missing a bladder.-They are half full of oil but you could barely tell because of the pistons.-Everything was way over tightening and a few of the rod ends wont come off period.-Some orings that seal the bottom were lubbed others werent.Definitely go through these they are good if you spend some time on them.Seller is really nice and tried to make it right. Hopefully the replacement are better!

Only thing would have been nice if they were labeled front and rear! I installed front ones on the back and realized it wasn't right! Once I put them in the correct positions, all was good! Car takes jumps and landings soo much better than stock shocks! And look great!

There a nice shock and would be great for bashing. I don't recommend them if you're going to do any type of racing they are a little bit too big.

Nice Build Quality. I blew out my front alloy shocks on my Vorteks, so I decided to give these a try. Very cost-effective for what they seem to be. So far so good. Time will tell how well they actually perform and longevity.*UPDATE: I've only done tests on fast street runs with street race tires, and bash runs with Proline Badlands at a huge construction site = shocks working better than I expected. Better steering control on the street for sure and Vorteks did not roll over quite as much in tight cornering and dirt drifting. I like these. I do hope they last as long as they are beautifully crafted and do not blow out like most cheap allow shocks.

I put these on my Big Rock 3s and it made it a lowrider. I thought it will fit but the shocks are smaller then its originals. Although they look good on it, they might bottom out. I haven't had the time to try it yet but im comparing it to my other Big Rock that has the original shocks and it stands taller. If it doesn't bottom out i will give it more stars.
