I have been using the device since July 2024, it has been nearly three months and I love it. I like the sound, mellow and clear, drives beautifully all my headphones (Sony wh-xb900n& Sony mdr 10rbt and Sennheiser Momentum 4) and my IEM Singot SuperMix 4.Ocassionally, there is a hissing sound and I reached Fiio Customer Services for Support. I received a reply shortly from them asking further questions and then it went quiet and I had no reply.

I am using this with a Honor android tablet and it's improved the sound and very functional. I have obtained a 4.4mm male jack to 2.5mm female connection, so I can use my main headphones with either normal sound or balanced cable sound. Very to use and a small size but quite heavy, comes with extras. Doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity.

Pre edit 3 stars: "I received the device today and it has truly been a mixed bag.Build quality is excellent, extremely premium.Size is about half the length and width of an S21 ultra but twice the depth.Sound quality is great, it has very precise volume adjustment and it does really upgrade the audio of my already great S21 Ultra (I drive Moondrop Aria SE)So the good is great but the not so good is just bad. This was advertised as working with a multitude of devices including the Nintendo Switch. It's the reason I bought it over the BTR5 which apparently is very "off" and fidgety with a Switch.I found out today that those adverts Fiio put up are completely false, the switch does not detect this device at all. When plugged in the DAC makes audible white noise as if it is actually receiving signal from the Switch but the console continues to keep routing audio through it's inbuilt speakers. This also will not work with my TV at all despite other DACs, even gaming ones doing so and the wires included are useless.Two of the wires are tiny and unless this is strapped to your phone (which you can do but it makes it super bulky) than these cables make the device unusable. The only cable of reasonable length is not only USB A so it doesn't work with a phone but unlike the 2 high quality tiny cables this one is rubber trash that you could buy in a euro store.I'm really let down as it does sound great but a USB C DAC that refuses to work with most USB C devices I own (that support USB C audio mind you) is pretty meh at best for this price"Update: Fiio just dropped a firmware update, you need a pc to install it but it enables UAC 1.0 and 2.0 switching which means you can new use the device with Switch and many, many other devices thanks to the UAC 1.0 standard!!!

I think this is very good product mine developed a slight hiss but your gonna get the odd one that doesn't go as it should fiio products in the whole I find excellent value for money especially the jade department of fiio which is their less expensive branch if you will.Good quality at very competitive prices I use the products and will continue to

I do not think my device was defective in any way. In fact it looked well made and of quality. It did not seem to improve my USB sound though, despite trying it on several mobile devices. The indicator light did not seem to respond to throughputs of audio at differing bitrates, very low Res to Hi.

Im in ore of how good this is! I have an old xduoo xd o5 and oppo ha 2 .This blows them out the water .Im sat listening to my Beyerdynamic dt 990 250ohm and its driving them easily .Buy it .
