7/21/2015 - Bumping up to 5 stars. I have been using this daily for the last 3 months (I am in mid 30s, have combination skin with occasional breakouts) and have been very happy with the unit and the results. My skin is 100% clear and glowing. Ladies, I stopped using foundation and switched to sunscreen + powder in the morning. I never thought I'd be able to do this. I am seeing MUCH better results with this unit compared to the Baby Quasar handheld I used in the past. About the unit: I actually do fold/unfold it nightly and it's held up extremely well, there hasn't been any issues. I didn't think I would use the preprogrammed settings at all, but after trying program 1 for a few days (amber/red/blue), that's all I use now! just 10 minutes per day, which is so much faster than any hand-held, with amazing results. This unit is absolutely worth every penny and it's very reasonably priced compared to other similar products on the market.4/28/2015 - Just got this today. Very well packaged inside the original product box. The construction feels a little flimsy, so I am a little worried about folding and unfolding day after day, I may need to find a spot where I can park it permanently. It doesn't come with a storage case, but I put it inside an old 17" laptop bag, which fits perfect. Instructions are written in "Google Translate" English, but are understandable. I used it for the first time today, it all works out of the box. There is a slight imperfection on the unit - a corner of the the sticker-like panel with the buttons peels up slightly, but I think it's just cosmetic and I'm not worried about it. I am not new to LED therapy: I owned red light Baby Quasar (which costs twice as much), which worked great and produced wonderful results, but after a while I was fed up with the hand held device and specifically wanted something that would treat the entire face. I just listen to music or podcast during the 20 min cycle and this works much better for me than a handheld. I will update my review as I use this more with results/durability info.

This is an excellent product. I can see a difference in my skin, especially the blue light for blemish control. I do find it drying on my skin though and must put on a good moisturizer right after using it and every day. Also, because of how drying it is for my skin, I only use it once or twice a week. Many people do not have trouble with it drying out the skin, but I do. When I told my dermatologist I was using it and it was drying out the skin, she said All light is drying, and suggested I use it only once a week followed by A.G.E. Interrupter (which is pricy!). The lights does work and I am very happy to have it. It is easy to use. I like that it stands up, tilts, and the sides can be made to spread out wide or to come in close to the face. It comes with protection goggles and I still close my eyes when using it and wearing the goggles. The price is good for what you are getting. I have had mine for about 6 months and use it faithfully. Light therapy is a very interesting and successful. I'm glad it is now at a point that products are made for the ordinary consumer to use at home. It is a lot cheaper than going to a skin-care person to have it done.

It is worth the money in my opinion. Lights do not over heat and item is holding up well so far. In addition, seller followed up after item was delivered.Pro - works as well as the salon service. I did six months of light therapy in the salon before this purchase.Con – It would be perfect if the light head would bend forward and back. It only bends back. It would make it easier when doing other parts of my body like my legs.Con - Manual could be a lot better. It needs to specify how often and how long. If new to light therapy than only use, the two programs provided that are limited to 10 minutes.Skin typeDry sensitive skin - I have been using the light therapy 4 to 5 times a week for three weeks now with no adverse side effects and all the benefits. I have dry, very sensitive skin, with a little rosacea. I’m over 50 so wrinkles are a problem and I have sun-damaged skin. It is very effective on cutting down on the redness which has become a problem as I get older. Skin looks better overall and wrinkles look less prominent. My pores on chin and nose have almost disappeared….Severe acne/scarred skin -Used it on my husband’s back. It only takes two or three uses before you can see results. Within 24 hours, the skin looks better and inflammation is down. I make sure to massage the skin and use a cheap mudpack on the area to remove old skin.
