Good, competitively priced camera and very good Cloud service support
This is a good camera and probably as good a digital camera as there is for the price. What I most like about it is the Cloud-based video support available from Amcrest. We'd used a local NVR solution in the past (Dahua) and the software configuration and access was very buggy. Our IT person suggested Amcrest and advocated its Cloud-based solution, and he was right: It's the Cloud support that makes this a fine product. We're going to beef up our video coverage at our facility and will be using Amcrest products.

Excellent IP Cam, Slightly Laggy at 4K
The image quality and zoom are both really nice. The web interface responded faster than what I'm used to. However, there appears to be a lag that's longer than what I'm used to with IP cams. The camera doesn't appear to miss any significant motion, but there's roughly 2 seconds delay before the web interface "main stream" catches up. This isn't terrible, but over a gigabit network, and with my other cameras performing faster, I find the response time subpar. It's likely that this is due to the higher resolution of the 4K camera, but it still feels slow. After further testing, the "sub stream" response time is much better, but still very slightly lagging. I suppose you have to choose between closer to real-time viewing, or higher resolution. When zooming, the camera takes about 4 seconds to go from one extreme to the other at the fastest speed setting. This seems okay, especially considering most bullet cameras don't have optical zooms at all. Once zoomed in, the optical quality is still very clear. I haven't seen any digital artifacts or watercolor effects so far.I don't have a microSD card to test with right now, but the instructions say it requires a fat32 formatted card, which means it most likely supports only up to 32gb cards.Overall I'm happy with the camera's performance. I'm hopeful they might improve the main stream speed in a future firmware update.I tested this camera using the Amcrest Gigabit Injector. It seems to work very well, and it was helpful as I wanted to setup this camera without running a wire from my PoE switch on a different floor.

Excellent IP/POE camera
I like the very wide angle this camera has as well as the zoom. The auto-focus works well when zooming in and out. Integration with the Android Amcrest App and 'Amcrest Surveillance Pro' for PC or Mac is easy to set up. The 4k resolution is fantastic. I didn't experience any lag with the 4k resolution at 15 FPS with live view or play-back on the android app or with "Amcrest Surveillance Pro'. The Mac version of 'Amcrest Surveillance Pro' could use an update as the most recent release was two years ago. It works reasonably well but does have a few minor bugs. The windows version seems to be better supported and more stable. Overall I love this camera and am very happy with the purchase.

great quality, as with most Amcrest cameras
great quality, as with most Amcrest cameras, the only down side is that zoom functionality is a bit slow and the camera is a bit larger than the non-zoom version but i am happy with it

Good picture, but narrow field of view.
This is used with a NVR, and the video quality is very good. It is well made.I don't like that the field of view is fairly narrow. I have it mounted 25ft. off the ground, and it pretty much only covers 1/2 of what I was hoping for.The zoom feature is kind of useless in this situation, as it can only look as very limited area, and to adjust where it is pointed requires moving the camera.Adjustments to the camera angle as to where it points is quite difficult. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it adjusted correctly.I would not recommend these bullet camera's. I guess they are all pretty much the same.
