An excellent product which provided fun and education
This was bought as a Christmas for my 7 year old. It was the first thing she wanted to do and she started building it herself on Christmas Day. She struggled with the first 5 pieces as the pieces slot together in a spiral, but once she figured out the method she devised a system for organising the pieces and off she went. The globe is now fully constructed, though she did need a little help to build the stand, and she has spent hours looking and questioning various oceans, continents, and countries: she loves it.It looks brilliant - in fact from a distance you would have no idea it was a puzzle. We have adopted it as an object of art for the living room and the puzzle globe is now the centre-piece of our sideboard.I would fully recommend this product as one which suits many ages and interests.

Great Globe Puzzle
This puzzle is actually far more robust than I expected being made from a sturdy plastic rather than cardboard or similar. It is a great way to get your child engaged in geography and intent on making a globe. One thing I dislike personally, and I'm sure to others it would be an advantage, is that the pieces are numbered on the inside to make it easy to put together. My reason for buying it was to challenge my daughter and get her to learn geography, a subject at which she is frankly useless, however, I haven't been able to stop her using the numbered pieces and get her to put it together from the map. If your child is more compliant I'm sure this would be a great learning tool.Once together it sits very sturdily on it's stand and isn't at all fragile, meaning it is useful to learn where places are and to see how the world fits together. I would definitely recommend- great quality

Clunky But Great Fun!
I purchased this at the request of my 10 year old for his birthday. On the whole it has been a great (if not yet complete) success. The pieces are numbered which, depending on your view, either simplifies or spoils it! The plastic used is fairly resilient although my son has managed to damage one of the pieces when he put it in his mouth thinking it would be 'waterproof', resulting in the printed layer lifting off that piece. He thought, because it was plastic, he could do this - although I still don't see WHY he needed to?! It is educational although, if the picture is built by number, the impact of learning which country goes where is somewhat lost. The construction is also a wee bit lumpy in that some of the joints between pieces can be difficult to butt up cleanly but overall it's been a good product so far and a great idea!

Fun but has its flaws
This is generally a good puzzle and the fact that all the parts are numbered helps when working on areas of blue sea. My only complaints are that there are NO written instructions included at all (apart from a visual guide for the stand), and although most jigsaw puzzles do not need instructions, in this instance some guidance would have been helpful on issues such as how to insert the final north-pole piece (which in my case was extremely tight) without damaging the existing puzzle-build. (never did solve this)And..I thought the stand was very poorly designed and (in my instance) was not correctly sized..being too large to holdthe finished globe.. An attempt to bend the wires to correct this resulted in the stand breaking :o(So ..a fun but flawed product.

Very good
Brilliant 3D puzzle. I don't have any kids and bought this for myself as I wanted to familiarise myself with countries and their locations on Earth. The pieces are made from plastic and once you piece them together, it remains in place rather sturdily. There are numbers on the back of the pieces which makes it super helpful and quicker to build. I think it would be quite a challenge to try to build it without looking at the numbers - but could see it as a great way to occupy kids! The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the wire frame holding the globe. It is a bit flimsy so sometimes when you pick it up, the ball falls out rather easily. Not good if like me you have cats in the house that have a tendency of knocking things over! Oh also, saved myself £10 buying it on Amazon :)

My 10 year old loved this. (His words on Christmas day were' Finally - I have been asking for this for years! - that's true I just wasn't sure and I was wrong). It took him only a few hours to complete and he assembled everything himself. I think the best thing about this was his interest in where all the countries were and of course spinning it (and yes it spins well and he fitted it with no assistance). Each piece fitted perfectly. As he built the globe he was so excited as it took shape. It is a shiny and beautiful globe! Needless to say I highly recommend! It probably surpassed his Wii U for temporary enjoyment!

Good Product
This is quite simple to make as the pieces are all numbered on the back. Once made, it is quite solid and looks good in my daughter's bedroom. It took a few hours to make.

great innovation
challengingone off play thingmy father and nephew (aged 12) sat together and made it.now it is "made" and put on the stand, no more a toy; noone dares to pull it down unless everyone is totally out of ideas (unlikely)so really, might as well buy a globe, but a great present with a difference, assembles easily if you know what you are doing...pieces fit well/.
