Absolutely beautiful!!
This fabric is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous. That said after washing the fabric did ravel. But after trimming the edges, it is fine. Would buy again. I am not disappointed at all. Great for crafts, napkins , small table cloths, quilting, throw pillow covers. Just about anything.I love it just to look at the beautiful patterns and roses. But then I Love anything Shabby Chic!!!!!

Not good quality
Very pretty fabric, but very poor quality. Can see thru it! Would not use in a quilt. Might be ok for table runner or wall hanging.

Pretty prints, but they shrink and FRAY!
I'm a bit of a fabric dragon: I love to hoard fabric, even if I don't have a particular project. If it's pretty, I want it. With my limited income, I rarely get it, but this time, I gave in.These fabric fat quarters are cotton; I would say 100%, but I'm not a chemist. When washed, they shrunk, as cotton does, and that is fine. I would not consider the shrinkage to be excessive. They were washed in warm/hot water, tumble-dried, and ironed with a steam iron.I also purchased fat quarters from another vendor here, and 3 fat quarters from Joann Fabrics. I mention these fabrics for comparison purposes. The fabric I got here on Amazon was 100% cotton, as far as I can tell. All the fat quarters shrank when washed and dried, as was expected. The Amazon fabric was more tightly woven and smoother than the Joann fabric. If fat quarters had a "thread count" like sheets, I would say the Amazon fabric had a much higher "thread count" than the Joann fabric. The Joann fabric, and both sets of Amazon fabric shrunk, as stated before, and none of it was excessive. But here is the final thing: fraying. O.M.G.These pretty, pretty fat quarters frayed so much, I may have lost more area due to fraying than to shrinking. This floral set frayed 2-3 times as much as the other (butterfly prints) Amazon fat quarters, and even more than the Joann fabric, which frayed the lease. I had a large pile of frayed threads by the time I was done pressing these, and most (90%?) of the thread came from this floral set. Now, I expect shrinkage and fraying, but not everyone does. So I am not saying, don't buy these fat quarters; I am just telling you what to expect when you do.The fabric IS soft and smooth after pressing, and the tiny roses printed on the fabric are so very pretty.I don't regret buying this fabric, but I just think you all should know that these fat quarters have pros (pretty prints, smooth hand) and cons(some shrinkage and a lot of fraying.
