Compact and Bright Enough to Boost a Space's Brightness
This light was wayy brighter than I expected it to be and compact enough to fit in one of those small-ish camera bags that comes with a DSLR camera kit.

Versatile and High-Quality Light for Professional Video Production
As a videographer always in search of the best lighting equipment, the Amaran 200x S 200W Bi-Color LED Video Light has exceeded my expectations. Combining it with the Aputure Light Dome II has provided an unparalleled lighting setup that delivers on all fronts. The versatility of the Amaran 200x S is one of its most standout features. With a color temperature range from 2700-6500k, it offers a broad spectrum of lighting conditions, adaptable to almost any scene or mood. Its CRI95+ and TLCI98+ ratings are testament to its ability to reproduce colors faithfully, ensuring accurate color representation in every shot. The ability to control the light via Bluetooth through a dedicated app is a game-changer. It makes adjustments quick and efficient, without having to disrupt my setup or workflow. This feature is incredibly useful, especially when I'm working solo or in a fast-paced shooting environment.Among the array of built-in lighting effects, I've found all of them to be impressively realistic and useful for enhancing my creative storytelling. They're easily adjustable and add depth and drama to my videos without requiring complex post-production manipulation.Pairing the Amaran 200x S with the Aputure Light Dome II has been a decision I couldn't be happier with. The soft, diffused light produced by this combination is incredibly flattering and versatile, useful in a wide variety of shooting scenarios. The Bowens Mount makes the connection between these two pieces of equipment seamless and stable. Moreover, the silent fan feature ensures that my audio recording remains clean, unimpeded by the distracting noise of a cooling system – an issue I've encountered with other brands in the past. The ability to power the light through either DC or AC is also an appreciable addition, providing flexibility depending on the shooting location and circumstances. In conclusion, the Amaran 200x S 200W Bi-Color LED Video Light is a top-tier lighting solution for any serious videographer. Its versatile features, coupled with the superior diffused light from the Aputure Light Dome II, make it an unbeatable combo for professional-grade video production. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Versatile Budget Light
Surprisingly bright for the price, and with Sidus Link integration it's perfect for one man bands. Love being able to fine tune my entire lighting setup without running around set and being bi-color makes it super versatile. Wish it came with a bag but the product box has a handle and works well enough for bringing it around with you. If you're concerned about professionalism you may want to spring for a third party bag/case though.

Powerhouse
A very smart light, the app alone is magical. Movie making has never been easier with these tools.

Great light, much better than the first version
Solid light, very quiet while running. While its not as solid as the other aputure lights, it does the job if you're careful with it. Only real complaints are that it doesn't come with a decent case like the 60x, the power cable is too short, and the reflector dish has the hotspot in the middle. But its a great light for the price.

Consider your output needs
My amaran lights are as follows, the 100d, 200x Bi, and the 300c RGB. The more things that you ask these lights to do, the more hamstringed the light output is. Case in point the 100d at 5600k outputs a maximum of 3750 lux while the 200x Bi at 5600k can reach 4630 lux. In practical use, I found this to be about two thirds of a stop more light. The 200 also has a slightly broader light pattern with the reflector mounted. The Sidus app hasn't given me any problems as of yet and is slightly more intuitive and easier to use than the Smallrig app for my other set of lights. It's packed full of features like setting fade in and out points that can be run like a program, not to mention access to all of the special effects features. In my pictures the 200x is on the left, followed by the 300 and 100 respectively. You can see that the 100 and 200 have near identical designs save for the extra nob to control your color temperature on the 200.Another plus is the starting point when going from 0% to 1%. It's on par with the 100, meaning that while their brightest points might not line up, you can get the to start in the same place if you need a small fraction of light. I only point this out because a Godox light I have takes a huge jump from 0 to 1.
