We picked this up mainly for travel and outdoor use, and it’s been better than expected. For such a small speaker, the sound is loud, clear, and has a nice punch of bass without distortion. It easily fills a room and still sounds great outdoors.It’s a great value for the price — especially considering how durable and waterproof it is (IP67 rated). Perfect for small spaces like hotel rooms, bathrooms, or an office. It fits right in a bag or backpack.Battery life is solid, and the buttons are simple and easy to use — no guesswork, just straightforward controls. Bluetooth connects quickly and stays stable.Overall, this speaker delivers great functionality, excellent sound, and portability without breaking the bank. If you want something that’s compact but still delivers, this is it.

LOVE IT!!!! This tiny thing packs so much sound!! I’m a stay at home mom and most days listen to podcasts while my baby naps or plays. We have a huge apartment, but I can hear it playing from other rooms! The Bluetooth connectivity is quick and easy to use. I have to admit that the color is the first thing that caught my eye. JBL is a well known, high quality brand and I love that these little speakers can add a little bit of color as a personal touch. I’ve had it for months now and I use it a few times a week. I’ve only had to change it a handful times. The battery lasts forever! Also, my toddler has gotten a hold of it a few times and dropped it. Not one ding or scratch so far!

Even though it had great reviews, I wasn't expecting much when I opened the package and found a speaker that fit in the palm of my hand. But when I paired it with Bluetooth to my phone (very easy to do) I was blown away. Great big, excellent sound. It's not going to dominate a crowded party room and the bass is ok, but not great. But if you're cooking, or doing the dishes, or sitting around with a half dozen friends (inside or outside) drinking wine, it pumps the tunes very well. Love this great little speaker.

I bought this last summer on Prime Day on sale for $30. I also bought a $90 speaker from an off brand at the same time that was much bigger. This JBL at 1/3 of the price and 1/4 of the size and outperformed that other speaker in pretty much every way. It is smaller, more portable, cheaper, and has a higher quality build than the off brand. I can listen to either podcasts or music on this speaker and both sound good with a decently high volume. This can't be used as a party speaker or anything where you are really trying to fill a large room with sound, but for working outside nearby, taking a shower, or just hanging out in the living room listening to some music this is a good option.It is water resistant so I can use it in the shower just fine. I've accidentally dropped it from a height of about 4'-5' more than once with no damage or issues, it seems as good as new other than some paint I accidentally got on it once when painting a room. The volume control and play buttons are well marked, easy to access, and easy to use. They give you a nice "click" when you press them for tactile feedback. The power and Bluetooth buttons are also well designed and give similar feedback and you won't likely accidentally press one of them.The biggest cons are that the Bluetooth connection does not show the battery charge level so you just have to use it for a while and charge it when it dies, or whenever you think about it. The battery does last at least one full work day. I can't say for sure exactly how long it lasts since I tend to use it for a few hours at a time rather than all day, but it lasts for at least several days of a few hours at a time with no issues. I would have liked it to display the charge percentage either on the device or on the bluetooth status bar on my phone though.This speaker also doesn't have a lot of bass to it. It has enough for a non-audiophile to enjoy all types of music including rock and metal, but no one would confuse this for something with a subwoofer. It also gets fairly loud for its size, but won't work well for playing music at a house party or backyard party where you want to fill an area with music. Use this more a personal, portable speaker and you should be happy with the purchase.I've had this speaker about 9 months now and would highly recommend it to someone looking for a good quality small Bluetooth Speaker for either music, podcasts, or audiobooks.

BUY IT! We chose this speaker because of its size to take with us to the beach/pool etc. We had a bad storm pass through our area that lasted about 2 days. The speaker was accidentally left INSIDE the pool during the entirety of those 2 days (totally submerged in at least 3 1/2 feet). We took it out assuming it was a goner. It was working 100%! No water damage. Sounds brand new! This is probably the best speaker we’ve ever owned.

It's loud its small. Its just not what i t the thought it would be. Perfect for kids or teenagers maybe. I have the JBL Extreme and boom box2. My 11 year old grandson said it has perfect sound and it is way louder than the one his dad bought him.

I love this speaker for my golf tunes. I don't like it so loud you can't talk to the other group without getting out of the cart or pausing the music, but this thing gets pretty loud for its size. It won't compete with the volume levels of the larger mega speakers, but the quality sounds good to me and it fits easily in my bag, has a relatively rugged shell and built in strap. It fits in a cupholder or ball storage in the cart, but I usually hang it on my golf bag so I can easily talk to my cart partner. It's easy to turn on & off, pairing is a breeze and has simple touch controls for changing volume or skipping a song. Sometimes it's easier to do those functions on the speaker rather than having to grab the phone. I would recommend this if the details I mentioned appeal to you. It checks all the boxes for me.

This was my very first wireless Bluetooth speaker, therefore I was somewhat uncertain about what features to look for. But based on the helpful reviews, I selected the JBL one here. It has great sound and is very easy to use. I tested it by playing some classical music from the composer Verdi and every note was as if in a concert hall. Very pleased.
