So cute and easy to use! Small size for big lighting! I love being able to decide the colors/amount of light that is reflecting! Purchasing more for gifts for the kids!

Didnt come with batteries (or a box for the cord) so I don't know how the remote is but it has a thing on the cord to control it, does not get hot quick and colors are pretty.

This is a very cool projector. It displays a circle of light which will outline the edges and the things in front of it with other colors. For example, if the light is a light purple, the outlines of everything will be blue and red. Great California/moody/indie effect. My only feedback is that it really gets hot after a while, so I wouldn't leave it on all night. Also, the tripod is a little lightweight for the top-heavy orb...I can easily see it tipping over. I can see it bc it happens to me all the time. There is a controller built into the cord. You can turn it off and on, change the color and brightness of the light. It's a usb cord end, so make sure you have a usb connector to a power source.

The color came out completely different to what I was expecting (should have paid attention to the photos). I was expecting a nice red color at the center that fades into an orange with a gold ring (like previous sunset lamps I had). However, the color came out uneven - the gradient effect went from left to right instead of starting from the center, and the outside ring was a mix of yellow and green color (I did not expect the green color). This made it look a little cheap. The lamp also heated up extremely quickly.

First and foremost: be sure to download the app if you want more color and brightness options.I read reviews stating the lamp gets hot if left on too long, but if you use the app, you can turn the brightness down further than the remote allows … it will still put out a decent amount of light while remaining cool for hours. I never had a problem with it being warm while keeping the brightness at a reasonable level. It still shines far in a room while providing enough light even at the lowest setting.As for the color options, you do get more via the app. You’ll see a whole RGB color wheel where you can pick any shade, but I’m going to be honest … you’re not going to see every color. It’s still a bit limited as some colors lack with how they show.For example:If you want to see a coral or peach tone, it will just show red or orange just at a different brightness, light pastel pink or lilac appears a more deep purple shade or hot pink, any teal or mint tones will just go blue or green with no in between. There will be no pure white tone as it will always have a yellow hue like a soft warm lightbulb. The RGB wheel makes it seem like there are millions of shade combos, but nah’ it’s limited with a preselected mixture.However, there’s still enough shades to choose from through the app using the color wheel that you can get a good match for whatever mood you’re in…If you’re unable to get the app, the remote itself still offers a decent selection to quickly change things.As for the item itself, it feels pretty sturdy and has decent weight to it. Doesn’t feel like cheap flimsy plastic. The height that is shown with the tripod is as high as it will go — it isn’t adjustable. Only the legs and swivel for the light itself is adjustable to put it at certain angles. The cord isn’t very long, but it’s not anything that extension cords can’t fix if you need it to go further from an outlet.Overall, it’s a nice little lamp that is great to give someone as a gift for their room, to have in your own home to set for certain moods, or to use as a way to give unique lighting for photos or videos.
