Worked perfectly!
My brother-in-law is recovering from a brain injury. He came home from skilled nursing and lives alone. With standard medicine organizers he couldn’t decipher what day to take. He also was non-compliant without a reminder. The alarm is fantastic and especially the fact that it continues until he takes the meds and hits the button but also the flashing light to show him which day to take is brilliant! He has not missed a dose since we got this and has done multiple days completely on his own.I would recommend this product 100%

Met all our needs at this time
Here’s the whole story of how this producer worked for us, really, saved a life and saved my wife’s mental health too. My 79 year old mom-in-law lives in independent living. She was not very independent about taking her medications Though. We had to visit daily to make sure she was taking them. (We can’t afford a service.) Then Covid hit and we couldn’t visit. We would call her twice daily and she would assure us she had taken her meds. She got really sick (not Covid) and started getting dizzy, anxious, headaches, trouble breathing,...all the things. Finally at 2am she called us very ill and my wife made her get her pill minder and tell us how many were empty. None. She hadn’t taken them for a week. She truly thought she had been taking them. We looked at many options. This thing works for her. In the 5 weeks that we have had it she has missed a single dose. It was easy for us to program for morning and evening meds (there’s no way she would have been able to set it up). The alarm grows from quiet to obnoxiously loud, for 5 minutes. The day she’s supposed to take lights up. If she misses, 25 minutes later it goes off again. We were worried she’d turn off the alarm and walk away, but the day still blinks even after she turns the alarm off and won’t stop until she opens the pack. At this time, this works for us, when nothing else has, it’s fairly low tech, easy for family to set up, large enough for her to be able to manipulate, and compared to other devices, inexpensive.

Alarms tones are too quiet
I bought this product for my elderly mother who was having difficulty remembering to take her meds on schedule. This product is a great concept, but it was executed somewhat poorly. First of all, the programming it was not very intuitive and the directions provided were a bit hard to follow, and they were (in my opinion) out of order. You programmed the alarm times before you set the current time on the device, which just seemed weird to me.My mom is both hard of hearing and has limited sight. It would be helpful, but currently not supported, if the audible alarm tones would have an adjustable volume setting so that the device could be heard even by those with hearing problems. One of the very nice features of the product is that it lights up the individual box that contains the pills that are supposed to be taken with the latest reminder. That way, if you're taking different morning and evening pills, it cuts down on mix ups. Also like how it re-alarms repeatedly (every 30 minutes, for a couple of hours, I believe) if you missed taking your scheduled pills.Good product overall, mom still misses some of her meds because the alarms aren't always loud enough for her to hear.

Very effective a little hard to use.
I purchased this for my parents who are a little cognitively compromised. It has worked great!! The only complaint I have is that it is a little hard to program and the instructions could be better. I want to emphasize that it works great just as it should.

Best pillbox!!!
Recommended for anyone with a forgetful parent! This pill box has saved my Mom’s life! The alarm serves to alert her, she can see the flashing red light for which pill container to take (even though she can’t remember what day it is), and she uses the containers as pill cups to take her doses, no more spills from tremors! Extra cups can be ordered too for backups.

malfunctions and not worth the money.
It was difficult enough to set it up. It has issues with getting it to set time correctly. After testing it for 2 days we set my FIL up with it and explained how it worked. It started malfunctioning just 2 days after we dropped it off. Going off at times when it wasn't set to go off. We had bought 2 of these as my FIL has meds 4 times a day. The one that was to go off in the morning went off in the evening. And the one that was set up with evening meds went off at the wrong time as well. They did the same thing in the morning. This made my FIL to not know which meds he was supposed to take. These meds were for diabetics, dizziness and heart meds. Needless to say, they are going back. DO NOT BUY, NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!

Great for dementia patient
Works great so far for a patient with dementia. Did not take long to learn - very easy operation. It beeps which attracts her attention. And the flashing compartment let’s her know where to take the pills from. Had a little trouble 1st two days with which button to press to stop the beeping.Suggestion: maybe make the Next Alarm button bigger and possibly flashing as well.

Works as described!
Bought this for my mother who is in the early stages of dementia and is getting bad about remembering to take her meds. She takes 2 pills in the morning and 3 pills in the evening so I setup 2 different alarms. One alarm for 10am and the other for 4pm, they work great! It was a little bit of a struggle to get her to understand it and to use it properly but once she figured it out (which only took about 2-3 days) she had it down great! I'm glad to have found this item! Takes some pressure off of me!
