I like the fine point. It's nice to write with but also to draw with.I haven't had them long enough to tell how long the refill lasts, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't last as long as the old refills last. Also, the refills will fit all Frixion barrels.I highly recommend them to everyone who takes notes or plans Agenda's or Journals. And if you're a Planner who likes to draw in your planners, they great for than too...just remember you need to set your notes for archiving.

I make mistakes or need to make changes. Frixion works great! I prefer gel ink to pencil by far. Now Synergy has made writing even better— I think of it as Pilot Frixion 2.0.

My husband is a teacher and he introduced me to these pens. I write a lot for work as well and these are perfect. I never have to worry about mistakes that erase clean and writes so beautifully

My husband uses these all the time because he loves that they erase clearly when he wants to change something. However, he was not aware that they erase because of heat. He left some important notes in a locked up in the car in the South Carolina sunshine, and when he went to read them, the pages were blank! Upon doing some research, I found that the ink disappears at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Thankfully, I also found out that it reappears when it reaches 17 degrees Fahrenheit. We put the pages in the deep freezer for a few hours and his notes came back.I am not crazy about these pens. While they are a fine point, which I like, and they feel pretty good in the hand, I feel that the ink runs out too quickly. I think that's an issue with most gel pens, but these seem to be more so than most, and he is always needing more. And that disappearing trick doesn't endear them to me!
