I could only use this for a bookmark the ink that came in the pin as well as the ink Replacements did not work

The pen is adorable. The three ink cartridges it came with do not work well. The ink will not flow well. They write very lightly if not at all. I've tried all 3 and they will not work no matter how much I scribble to start the flow, warm them with my hands, or suck on the end to initiate the flow. Very frustrating.

The pen I bought is about 6 inches in length and about 1/8 inch in thickness, and is a bright yellow color. The pen is versatile. It is a good value as it also comes with 2 refills. Because of the compact size, it is kept by me in a phone case where a standard pen cannot be stored and it can also be used as a bookmark. So far, the pen appears to be of excellent quality, and it writes smoothly and can be erased. Happy with the purchase.

3rd iteration of my review:Pen after pen (I bought ~ 6, for gifts what a joke). Is also dead AS ARE the refills (see video I hope to attach). *Better yet - "thinking gifts.com" has NO "contact" info - only an instagram page. Founder is "Gary." Sound shifty? Thinking Gifts Company, Ltd. privately owned in GB. 2 family members last name Lancet.But all is not lost - try Bobolino, here on Amazon - nice company owned by Aaron Wax, VERY timely customer service - can't recommend highly enough.It's a shame I have to edit this review - from 5 to 1 star.The first pen worked well, but this one - not at all. It wrote about 2 sentences, then was dry. NEITHER refill worked either!!!! VERY poor quality - I should have read reviews first. Bobolino is great pen - they work and refills are available on their website, not Amazon though :-(This pen is exceptional for hurting hands!It's counterintuitive, but the flat design is much easier to hold.I'm off to buy a bunch for gifts (and for me =;-)❤️* I took "video" of hubby using the pen and each refill - scratching paper after a 1" line of scratchy ink, but it was apparently a photo instead =:-\\

I thought this was so cute and I could leave it clipped in my crossword puzzle book so I’d always have a pen available.Unfortunately, the ink cartridge in the pen didn’t write at all. Only one of the included refills wrote well enough to actually use. It was hit and miss with the other.Since it is so cute and would be handy, I’m exchanging it for another one, hoping for better luck the second time. If there are still issues with the ink cartridges, I’ll return it for a refund.I wouldn’t want to try to write a letter or anything with the pen due to its shape. It’s okay for filling in crossword puzzle words though and the eraser really works. It would be easier to write with it if it used gel ink but maybe those cartridges would be too thick for a flat pen.I’ll try to remember to update this review once I receive the replacement - if it’s any better or just as bad.Edit: I quickly received the replacement pen at no charge but it was just as bad. Actually, it was worse because none of the ink cartridges worked at all. I’ve returned both pens. Cute idea but poor implementation. Too bad.
