Exceeded my expectations
For those with your own NVR (in my case I use Blue Iris software) and familiar/comfortable with networking or familiar with other hikvision cameras, this is a great camera! I saw it stated this "only" works with hikvision NVR but that's not entirely true since it works just fine with Blue Iris software. I've used Hikvision camera's for years and a few years ago bought my first 4K outdoor PoE camera. The HD and 4K are great, but was looking for something to cover a wider range. This camera has the same 32:9 aspect ratio as my 49" ultrawide monitor. This is the first camera I've had that has audio support too. By default these are setup for video only so you can play with the "audio" settings all day and you won't hear anything unless under the "video" settings you change the mode from video to "video and audio". I didn't really get this for audio but is a nice feature to play around with. The range covered was further than I expected and the nighttime color looks very clear. It looks almost pitch dark outside but for some low lights from the street lights and from the houses with the naked eye, but on camera, everything looks bright and colorful. I have not had it long but from my short term impressions and experience with it so far, I ordered a second one to add for my back yard. The framerate could be higher as I prefer 30 to 60 constant (I have 20TB of NVR storage) but 20 fps seems fine so far. I hope the quality of this lasts like my previous HD hikvsion cameras I've had over a decade and my more recent 4K I've had about 3 years now. If you don't have a NVR or looking for a plug and play solution, this probably isn't the best solution for you. These are configured with static IP's out of box so you need a little networking experience to get to it espeically if you have a different subnet than the default preconfigured one. However like I say, if you are familiar with other hikvision cameras and/or use their NVR or Blue Iris, I highly recommend it! Time will tell if that changes but it would be a first if I had issues with this camera after a short amount of time.
