Practical and just what i wanted
I'm no hill-walker, but for those days when neither my Sketchers nor my wellies are appropriate footwear, these are just great!!! Perfect for my walks around the caravan park at this time of year. My feet feel protected in them, with their hard-wearing, yet comfy soles. I wasn't used to ankle boots so I can't say I fell in love with them immediately, but after a couple of times, my heels got used to them, and they felt much more comfortable. I wear a size 6 and ordered a 6, but I think another half size would have been better to allow for thicker socks. They do keep the rain out - plenty of that up here in Scotland. I just love the colour, too!!!! They look great with my jeans:) I liked the style so much that, when I saw a similar style of boot for sale by another very well-known 'outdoors' company, I bought them, too - they may look similar, but they're definitely not the same quality as these ones. Altogether, I'm very pleased with this purchase! The hills alive, with the sound of......grandma clumping around in her hillwalking boots:D

Comfortable and waterproof
Inexpensive. Value for money boots. Waterproof and comfortable. I ordered size seven although I am a five to six normally. I am glad that I did as they are a nice fit. These boots are small, so my advice is size up.

Good but not much cushioning for forefoot
Usually a 7 so sized up to an 8 as suggested by reviews. Fits fine, normal size would have been too small. Lightweight and waterproof (wore first time yesterday in a downpour for half hour, feet dry when I got home). Lots of cushioning in the heel and padded support around the ankle, moderate arch support. Disappointed in the lack of cushioning in the forefoot area, could feel the chippings through the sole as I was walking on the path. Will try with a cushioned insole but there isn't much room in the toe box height so may find toes rub on upper surface. Shame as otherwise a great boot.

Great quality
I've been wearing these for most of the winter and I have zero complaints. They're comfy, waterproof and have great treads which is really useful for when it's icy

Insoles thinning
I have bought Karrimore boots for years I have found them very comfortable and hard wearing. I bought a pair on amazon they arrived and fitted comfortabley ( I always buy my boots in store but due to COVID the stores are shut). The pair I bought I used on my allotment. Wearing these same types of boots for many years I thought they would be excellent as they are waterproof, hard wearing and comfy. I do not wear them on daily bases only on my allotment.A couple of weeks in I could feel the ground through my left boot. I thought it was a bit odd but I still used them.I then bought two more pairs one pair to keep in my caravan and the other pair for daily use. I have worn my caravan karrimore boots for four days not for climbing up mountains just general public footpaths walks. On the second day I could feel the ground I wore them next day the problem got slightly worse now today my fourth day they are so uncomfortable I can feel everything under my foot water is seeping in slightly and the the problem is now starting on my right foot. The left inside sole has worn through on the lining so basically I am walking on the rubber sole this is why I can feel the floor ( no padding left !!!)This is so disappointing karrimore boots use to last me ages I used to where them on a daily bases through all sorts of weather. These boots are nowhere near as hard wearing as they used to be Four full days of wearing and the best place for them is the bin.. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Comfortable, waterproof, and great value hiking boots!
Comfy, Dry, and Built to Last – Great for Walks and CampsThese boots are spot on for hiking, dog walking, or general outdoor wear. They’re comfortable straight out of the box, with good ankle support and a cushioned sole that doesn’t rub or feel stiff. They’ve handled wet and muddy conditions brilliantly — totally waterproof and the grip is solid on rough terrain. Lightweight enough for long walks but sturdy enough to feel protected.Great quality for the price, and they look good too. I’d happily recommend these for anyone after a reliable walking boot without spending a fortune.

Good to put on your feet
These shoes don't make well fitting gloves and aren't much good as a hat. They do however make good foot attire.

Highly recommended
Took these to rural (the countryside) in brazil - it was muddy and rainy there and these were perfect! My feet stayed dry and comfortable, however they are not particularly breathable, but still well worth the price i paid. Just a note - if you (like me) end up walking through a swamp where theres mud up to your shins and then jump in a lake with the boots on, they do take quite a long time to dry again (probably because it was very humid in brazil and the sun wasnt out that much). I did bring them back with me. They smell damp now, but its my own fault for walking through the swamo and jumping in the lake. If you dont do this you will be fine!! If i can get ankther pair for the same price i paid i would buy them again. Im a size uk 4 and bought a uk4 and they fit perfect with a bit of room
