Q: What ingredients are imported? Also what plant is this food made at?

So I share your concern. Most dog foods say "made with international ingredients" and this is a red flag for me. China has been known to have bone meal made with with products from euthanized animals. This is your greatest concern. In the case of this dog food, the beef is sourced from the usa but all other variations are from "international sources" so I am trying the beef version. I will mix this with their current food and slowly transition. I would rather have 100% usa sourced ingredients but this is next to impossible to find.

The descriptions says "Real American beef is the #1 ingredient... Made in California, USA at a family-owned facility with trusted, high quality sources from around the world". I know about the awful stories about pet food sources, but it sounds like this meat is from a good source.

Yes it does!! Both the vitamin and mineral mixes come from China, amongst other places in the world that I wouldn’t necessarily trust. I had to jump through hoops to get the info from the manufacturer. Do NOT recommend.
