SRAM MTB Wheels 11.2015.023.100 Free Body Kit for MTH 506 Hub

I looked for the correct replacement for the Free Wheel Body for my 2011 Boardman MTB (SRAM groupset) with trepidation because of the variability in aftermarket sizing, and the confusing specifications of the SRAM components. I needn't have worried - this was exactly the same as the old one, and fitted perfectly, and it didn't break the bank! I can't comment definitively on the quality and longevity of these items - the old one failed after only 1700 miles, but that was spread over 13 years of mud and extreme winter commuting (using studded ice tyres).

The wheels on a Carrera Crossfire 2 from Halfords don't have any brand names written on them, but this freehub is a prefect fit.

Its working fine, but did come undone which produced some wheel wobble until I fixed it. I did torque it up and have since put some thread lock on it and hopefully it doesn't come loose again. Never had that happen before.

This freehub is also compatible with certain B’Twin bikes, despite the SRAM label. Perfect match for when the original one inevitably fails. Solved an issue I was having for a customer.

I thought this was to be used with sealed bearings, but it was for ball bearings, so it was no use to me! Don't think the bearing type was stated in the info?

Did not fit my sram hub. Appeared to be complete opposite fitting
