Worked great!
Not much else to say other than it worked just like expected. I especially liked the magnetic strap. Old version didn’t have that. Made hanging it much easier.

Don't hold vacuum- Update
Finally had a chance to use it and it reads vacuum pretty good below 500 microns but it does not hold the vacuum. It started going up as soon as I closed the valve. Tried mi friend's vacuum gauge with the same hoses and pump arrangement and it held vacuum. Tried it again with my Supco gauge and it did not hold vacuum. Fist time to use it and is NO good.UpdateI should have written a review for this product a while back. The company replaced my vacuum gauge right away without hassle and this one has been working well for couple of years and is still going. Sometimes you get a bad apple but I have been satisfied with the replacement. Thank you!

Company must have updated the gauge.
I haven't had a chance to put it to work, but if you were like me you have been watching videos and have seen this meter a few times. Seems like it is a decent gauge for the price.I wanted to post this to let everyone know the add is misleading. I believe the company has updated the gauge. It looks different and has a range of 0-19000 microns instead of the 0-12000 as stated.Going to give it 4 stars just because I want people to see that you will get a different gauge than the one in the picture.See the pic. Hope this helps.

Gives Junk A Bad Name
Did I believe the bad reviews when I purchased this gauge? Not really. I usually attribute bad reviews to a combination of user error, unrealistic expectations, a poor quality product or all of the above. Do I believe those bad reviews now? Oh yeah.... I can't really tell if the unit I received had been returned, but the film covering the display looked like it had been peeled off and put back on, otherwise the gauge looked new. To test it before putting it on an HVAC system, I connected it to my brand new 5 cfm vacuum pump which was filled with new oil and used a brand new Yellow Jacket Plus II 29836 heavy duty vacuum / charging hose rated to 75 microns. Turned on the pump and watched the gauge rapidly drop down to 250 microns. I let it run for a few minutes to stabilize, turned off the ball valve to isolate the gauge and hose and watched the numbers climb....and climb....up, up and away to atmospheric pressure. Certainly I must have done something wrong, so I checked the connections again, made sure everything was tight and tried again. Nope, same result. Maybe there's moisture in the hose.... Let the pump run for 20 minutes, pulled a vacuum to 95 microns, turned off the valve and pump and the gauge started climbing - slower to tease me this time, but eventually went to 3,000 microns. Ok, maybe it's the hose, so I connected the pump and hose to my manifold, turned it on and quickly pulled a vacuum to -29.85in. Closed the valve, turned off the pump, had a beer, came back an hour later and the manifold still said -29.85in.At this point I'm getting pretty disappointed and I decide to try Supco's recommendations on cleaning the vacuum sensor. They make a huge deal in their instructions, saying that "90% of all warranty returns are due to contaminated sensors". Ok, fine. I put a bit of rubbing alcohol in the brass "T", closed the caps, shook it up and opened a bit more alcohol for myself, lest I get frustrated and bat this gauge into left field with my Louisville Slugger. After 15 minutes, I removed the alcohol, dried the sensor, tried again and was rewarded with the same result. I attached the gauge directly to the pump to eliminate the leaky hose possibility, with no luck.I can only come to the conclusion that the previous reviewers are correct - that this gauge leaks only slightly less than my spaghetti collander and that Supco must have some nefarious desire to ensure that those who are only trying to get a job done run around in circles until they fall over and wave the white flag of defeat. This turkey is being returned as soon as tomorrow....

Amazing product for it's money
Works like a charm. Easy to use. Requires 3 AA batteries but that is minor, and did everything I wished for when it came to putting a system into a vacuum.

Best one yet.
Very durable. Been out in drenching rain. Below freezing temperatures. Still works. Only down side is double male hose connections.
