I've bought many carpet cleaners but this one is the very best I have owned. This machine has a steam cycle along with it's regular water cycle and it cleans much more thoroughly than any smaller carpet cleaner we have had. No leakpage, good storage capacity, it is easy to use, it is built to Bissell high quality threshold, has lots of power and works beautifully. Definitely would purchase again!!!!

I upgraded from my spot cleaner to do larger swaths of carpet and it does a great job. I like the light duty setting for most of the cleaning I do. In heavy traffic areas, I use the standard duty cleaning which releases a lot more cleaning fluid. The suction is strong but the carpet remains somewhat wet needing a few hours to clean with a fan blowing. The steam setting seems pretty useless but maybe it does something.

If you’re like me, you like to keep your area, rugs, and your carpets beautiful and clean. I have a dog who tends to bring in muddy messes.Over the years I have bought a few different carpet shampooers, and only one of them probably worked the best at the time because it had a rinse cycle without having to switch to a clean water tank. Well, that machine didn’t last more than two years.I then bought another one. I think was a Bissell pet pro heat and I gotta tell you, it never pulled out the dirt out of my carpet, no matter how many times I went over it, it remained dirty. I almost threw away my very expensive area rug until I bought this carpet shampooer.I was at the point that I didn’t even care how much money I had to spend to buy a carpet shampooer, as long as I can find something that actually does what it’s supposed to do.Well, it took me a minute to really figure out how to use it correctly to get the best results, And this is by far the best investment I’ve ever made in a carpet shampooer EVER!!!!Ok 1st thing, the pre-stain steaming function works perfect. 2nd thing, the shampoo/heat drying function working together at the same time is brilliant!! 3rd thing, the steam dry works way better than I thought it would. When you use it correctly, it says it will dry in 30 minutes, well it did exactly that.Let’s not forget to mention one of the most things you need to have in shampooer, the strength and power of the suction feature to pull out the water and dirt. Well I cannot believe how much more dirty water this machine was pulling up out of my carpet!! It pulled up stains up that I thought would never ever come out because it never did with two other carpet shampooers. The shampooer is a dream, and it cleans your carpets just like a professional would.I invested a lot of money in rebuilding my home and I want to keep it beautiful and clean and the only way that I can do that is by investing in products like this that will far surpass any of my expectations and is the best buck for your bang. So don’t worry about how much it cost, think about how much it’ll cost you later on down the road when you have to keep replacing those carpets in area rugs when you don’t purchase this product. I finally broke down and I purchased this Bissell. I had been researching it and reading all the “Worst” reviews because I wanted to see what the worst thing about it was according to the people who bought the machine.BUY IT BEFORE YOU CONSIDER HIRING PROFESSIONALS!! Because I was considering hiring someone to do it. The major traffic stains came out with ease!! I’ve only shampooed the carpet in the picture once!!And I honestly didn’t even use the recommended cleaning solution that Bissell recommends (Although I Certainly WILL NOW)But that definitely SOLD ME after using this machine! I have no complaints and I was leaving a review for this machine no matter how the outcome was.PROS:Weight and Ease of setup from my front door to ready to clean the carpet only took 20 minutes!!Works better than I even expected and if you want to deep clean your carpets and keep them clean this is the best bang for your buck!!Water Tank capacity wasn’t that bad! I wanted a deeper clean and the tank capacity was easy to switch out and get back to work!The cleaning of the machine and the accessories were all easy to clean after use!! The plastic parts are plastic so they can be broken! Read the instructions how to remove them before you start cleaning the machine and you’ll be fine!!

This is another fantastic steam cleaner from Bissell. Excellent build quality. High quality, sturdy plastics. Excellent ergonomics. And, wait for it, it works great.First, it has two tanks. This is a must have for a carpet cleaner. You want that clean tank to stay clean. You fill it with water and add soap - that's it. The dirty tank (below) holds all the sucked up gung and goop that is in your carpet - and trust me - it's there. You empty this thing after the top tank of water is empty and then rinse it out. Simple.Second, the HydroSteam feature is a must. It works. Turn it on, let it warm up about 10 seconds and then go over an area - maybe 15 sq feet, keeping the trigger depressed to spray out cleaner and steam. Then go back over the same area - without depressing the trigger - and watch all the water and gunk being sucked up through the clear plastic cover over the roller brushes. I find this is an effective way to work.Third, when the upper tank (clean) is empty, the lower tank (grey) will be filled. Detach the dirty tank and dump in the sink (make sure you have a sink strainer in your sink to catch the hart and fibers the thing vacuums up). Then, detach the roller cover and rinse that too. Reattach and you are good to go again. A full tank of water with a little cleaner does about 1/2 of a large bedroom (in my experience).Finally, this has all the attachments, for upholstery or stairs, but I splurged and got the Little Green Machine for that (much lighter and easier to use).Can't believe I waited this long to purchase this thing.
