Fabulous
Amazing car seat and fab for our 16 month old. Very secure and comfy with the added extra comfort in which can be removed when your child grows.Easy to fit into the car and very sturdy!

Silver Cross going down in expectations…
The seat is fine, but the most frustrating thing is the belt buckle. The two straps don’t stay fixed together so when you try to push into the buckle they fall apart and when trying to contend with a crating toddler and small baby- the whole situation just stresses you out more!It would also be good if the seat reclined just a little bit more. I’m wondering how the seat buckle managed to pass testing to be honest!

So glad I purchased
Been looking at this for ages and finally purchased in the prime sale. Very comfortable with thick padding for support. Easy to install

Overall excellent with some niggles.
Well made and solid when your little human is in it. Appears to be comfortable and secure.Negatives:Rattles ALOT with no child in it - annoying when you're finally enjoying some silent alone time in the car.The covers come off the straps way too easily.

Excellent quality
I am sure if my grandson could talk he would say it was comfy.

Frustrating fastening
We have a silver cross pram that has reliably transported both our little ones from infant through to toddler. So bought this based on the name alone. The chair itself looks very comfortable and supportive. Shocked a little to see the iso fixings are not re-assuring metal (or maybe it is but covered in hardened plastic), but its received minus marks as it got me questioning the safety (and longevity?) of the fixing and therefore the seat. The tilt function works fine. Some seats (like our maxi Cosi mica 360°) their heads fall forward when they sleep. We've only had to lift the little one's head once after she'd fallen asleep with her head tilted forward (I get neck ache just thinking about the position their heads are at sometimes..). So it suggests orgonimcally the seat is better designed than the other(s).But for the love of fruit that buckle is going to be the death of me. The number of times I have cursed those clips for not sliding into the buckle is almost daily. I can understand now why it was advertised at such an enticing discount...(More an aside than a negative complaint about the product) but I regret not getting a swivel / 360° seat. I may just swap this with the Maxi Cosi sitting in the missus's car - and then I can be the one telling her to mind her mouth when she's struggling with the buckle... Yes, I may just do that!

Poor design !
I’ve owned a couple of Silver Cross prams before and decided to purchase this product based on those positive experiences. The build quality is undeniably solid, and the materials feel premium. However, the design falls short when it comes to user experience. As others have mentioned, latching the belts requires considerable effort. Trying to fasten the belt while my toddler is already fidgeting or upset is incredibly frustrating. Adjusting the belt is another challenge—I thought it would get easier with use, but it remains a constant struggle. When it comes to comfort, it’s equally disappointing. My toddler is of average size, but with the insert in place, it’s too tight to fasten the belt properly. Without the insert, it feels like she’s sitting in a hollow space, and her posture looks uncomfortable. Watching her sit like that gives me backache just thinking about it.While the quality is impressive, the poor design makes this product unusable for us. I’ve decided to return it.

Not what was expected from silver cross
Bought this because of the brand but struggled with it n now gave up.The belts are too short n getting the little buckle holding two together is a task especially when the toddler is all over the place. Would not recommend
