I have had this nail lamp for 4 years and it still works amazing. I really recommend this and would definitely buy again.

I like this light for several reasons:1. It is roomy enough to include the whole hand and a foot for a pedicure.2.. There are finger rests inside as a guide to where to place fingers, including the thumb. The finger rests are suitable for both the right and left hands.3. The top is detachable from the bottom.4. The motion detection works well! It activates once you place your hand inside and deactivates when you remove it. The motion detection did not work well when swatching with sticks or mini circles. For swatching, I push the button corresponding to the number of seconds I need. This activates the light, and it stays on for the duration of the selected time.5. Powerful - The 54 Watt light is powerful. I have had no issues curing light or dark dip colors, using Gelish gel Foundation and Gellish gel Top iI Off. I imagine you can cure any product in this lamp.6. The LCD screen is a feature I didn't know I needed. My Gelish 5--45 doesn't have this feature and when I cured I would have to guess how long I had left for a curing cycle. It is nice to be able to read the display.7. The lamp has a 6-month warranty. However, if you go to the Melody Susie website and register the lamp, you will receive an additional 6-month warranty. The total warranty will then be 12 months.Cons:The only thing I would change about the light is the orientation of the LCD screen. The numbers on the screen are oriented to read the numbers from the back of the lamp. Therefore, for a DIYer, facing the front of the lamp, the numbers are in reverse. But, that is not a big deal, as the numbers are easy to understand, even in reverse.Finally, I notice other reviews state the LCD screen doesn't display the numbers or it is wonky. That happened when I first turned on the lamp. But, I removed the plastic sticker covering the LCD screen and it seems to have corrected the issue. I have not had a problem since.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. It is a great lamp and I expect to use it for years to come.

Amazing product - works great! I use with Gellen gel polish. Make sure you use base, polish and top coat hardens all three.

I love this nail lamp! My friend has a UV bulb model also from MelodySusie and I intended on buying the exact same lamp, but amazon suggested this as a newer version and after doing a little research, I learned that LED nail lamps have basically made traditional UV lamps obsolete. LED lamps dry gel polish quicker than traditional UV lamps and LED lights never need replacing unlike UV bulbs that have diminishing effectiveness over time and need to be replaced based on hours of usage. Also, pretty much all gel polishes are compatible with both UV and LED light. So, with this information, I decided to purchase this model. I love it! The motion detect on/off feature is so awesome! It’s a nice little feature that adds convenience and a luxurious touch. I also love the countdown display. I feel like it helps make the time pass quicker knowing how much longer you have left, although I wish it read towards the person using the lamp instead of the numbers facing the opposite way. As it is, the timer display reads the numbers upside down when you have your own nails in the lamp.Overall, really happy with this product and very glad I chose this model instead of the other model my friend owns that I had been borrowing. It’s also more compact and much lighter in weight. Also, super happy they offer a 20% discount on a set of gel polishes when you purchase a lamp. (Look at all the photos on the item listing, towards the end of the photos of the item there are coupon codes for each set that you apply at checkout to redeem the 20% off.) I’ve been obsessed with their Sweet Reverie collection. Between my friend and I, we have almost finished several of the colors from the set, so I was able to save on replenishing our supply. The colors are gorgeous and the polishes go on so well.**Important thing to remember: LED lamps still emit UV light, meaning you need to be cautious about frequent exposure. Sunscreen or special gloves are still recommended.

Pros: easy to use and set up. Removable bottom in case of pedicures. Setting buttons are 30,60,90 seconds and motion activated as hands/toes are placed inside. Cures the gel polishes I have within 60 seconds so quick and powerful.Cons: the bottom plate is magnetic so it does come off when moving, this did tan my hands when using. After one manicure, I will need to purchase gloves or use sunscreen to prevent further tanning of my hands. I purchased for LED lights thinking that this would not darken my hands.Overall a good product for the price for beginners. Quick and easy for at home nail sessions but need to consider gloves or other method of prevention for skin tanning going forward.

I was scrolling through melody susies lamps and saw I’ve had mine for 5 years! 5 years and she still works perfectly! Never had an issue with it! Thought I should share lol
