This item works great. It covers the keyboard, with a protective film that is transparent, lays in place flat, and easy to type on. Perfect for my daughter who sometimes snack while on her lap top, keeps out crumbs.

False statement
It was longer than I thought. My laptop was 16 inches per description it should fit 15 to 17 inches. I am not sure how did the seller measure the dimensions.

Size was smaller than keyboard but fit just slightly mabey needs to be broken in then it will fit perfectly.

Small but does the job
Was not as big as I had anticipated. I hoped to cover my keyboard and mousepad, but I already had a keyboard cover, so I just used this to cover my mouse tracker thing, and it works great!

Stays in place and feels natural on keyboard
Item is great, it stays in place on key board, does not slide and is thin enough that it feels natural to type on. Am on key board 8-12 hours daily between work and play. Would definitely recommend.

This keyboard protector is a must have
For someone like myself who likes to drink coffee while catching up with your emails and reading the news on your laptop, this keyboard protector is a must have. After shorting out my second laptop when I knocked over my coffee, I decided to buy a keyboard protector.Although I bought this keyboard protector for a new laptop that I just bought. I still have the first keyboard protector that I bought 6 or 7 years ago, which I am still using on my older laptop, which is also 6 or 7 years old.Even though I bought the keyboard protector and started putting a lid on my coffee I did at one time manage to spill half of a 12oz cup of coffee when the lid wasn't on right. Of course the coffee landed right in the middle of the keyboard. Fortunately, the keyboard protector formed a seal and none of the liquids managed to get inbetween the keys.Without the keyboard protector, I am sure that I would have had to replace my older laptop siiner. My older laptop still works fine and I am still using it. I only bought the other laptop so that I would have a new laptop and besides Samsung was offering a good deal.
