It’s been three years, highly recommend
I’m posting this review three years after I purchased the rain guard. I really didnt know how well it would work until my painted item has been exposed to the elements. The sealant really does hold up to its claims. Other exterior sealants did not hold up as well. It has a water like consistency and I initially thought it would not hold up but it has truly proven itself. Does not have a strong smell either. No complaints.

Cool
Did ok. I’m not exactly sure if my expectations were more than the product could handle of if the product falls short. All in all it did ok.

It actually works!
I had leakage from the outside wall to inside wall (garage) of my house. The house is 23 years old and we're in Florida. My handyman pressure cleaned the outside wall (removed moldy gunk), then put clear acrylic caulking along the edge of the outside wall. Let it dry, then used this Rainguard Sealer along the outside and inside walls. (very important to use the one made for painted surfaces if it's been painted!!). We just had a hurricane with tons of rain... no leaks into the garage! Hooray! This product does work. Important to purchase the correct one (painted versus unpainted) and to let the products dry before applying the next step.

Sticky
I thought that it was going to dry out after a few days but it's been a several weeks, I used it to seal my front porch. It's still sticky. It eats dirt. Feels like I put a coat of honey on it. Do not buy.

Didn't alter the color of what I'm protecting
Easy to apply.I can't tell you how well it protects , it's been less than a week since application.

Runny but works!!
I used this on our porch fence (the horizontal parts of the painted wood) that is ruined every year from water sitting on it. I applied two coats of this by spraying it on and spreading it around with a rubber glove and left it pooling on surface to soak in and dry between coats. I tested it and the water pooled on surface and so far it looks like my paint is finally holding up to the weather. Just because it is runny like water, does not mean it is not doing what it was meant to do. I am happy with it and plan to use it in other areas that keep getting damaged by water.

a great bathtub sealer
I used one of those paint kits to make my bathroom counter look similar to granite. The warnings on the container practically forbade using this on a bathtub. I did the bathtub too. I did use extra steps. After multiple coats of clear coat I put on multiple coats of Rain Guard. It works on painted surfaces, right? Well, it’s been a year and there have been no issues with the paint job in the tub. Likely because of this sealant. I’m getting ready to repaint the deck out by the pond. When done it will also get a coat of Rain Guard. I don’t want to have to repaint that deck again next year and I think this is the way to go. I’m really impressed on how it worked out in the tub so it’s got to work well when used as directed.
