this kettle is my pride and joy in my home , love the retro look of it and functions very well , size I feel could be a little bigger I find myself constantly replenishing it when I want to use it unlike other kettles where you can make a few cups with a full kettle

Despite it being heavy, I loved the look of this ceramic kettle. I bought it in May and it was fine at first but lately the kettle is leaking badly. This is not due to over filling.It means that once boiled boiling hot water leaks out of the bottom of the actual kettle making the base it sits on (the part you plug into the electricity point) very wet, which, as electricity is involved seems pretty dangerous. As boiling water is dripping from the bottom of the kettle it’s double dangerous.I suspect this is a design flaw in the attachment of the plastic kettle bottom to the ceramic body of the kettle. I’ve emailed the company. No reply yet. I’ll need to buy a safer kettle.

Well, it is a good kettle.I am a bit surprised to see complaints about weight - it is a ceramic.Nothing crazy, but it weights.. since material is close to stone.The colours are just magnetic.Made in China, as everything else these days.Seems to be good quality, no leaks, no cracks, no any other complaints.I like it.

Really lovely kettle but very, very, very heavy and this is before filled in with water.

looks lovely, but after replacing new kettle with the same item, have a cracks AGAIN as soon as after first use, than water drops leaks. Sad. It seams that ceramic used for production is not heat adaptable, do not goes with refilling kettle, while hot ceramic after first use, and you wish to top it up with new ofcourse cold water to boiler...even if looks nice this kettle functioning is extremly poor. I am disappointed. I was trusting that first crack was just bad luck but it clearly looks the ceramic quality is not to do with heat.

The ceramic teapot is indeed both attractive and of high quality. However, it's disappointing to discover that there is a flaw in its glazing, leading to issues with the seal between the ceramic and the metal part inside the teapot. Due to this concern, I will be returning it immediately, as I prefer not to have to deal with the seal issue each time I boil it.

I have had this beautiful kettle for about 5weeks It is quite heavy but i am very elderly and manage it pretty easily Itworks very well No problems at all.

The design is nice, but quality is pour. We purchased it on February this year, but asked for replacement, because ceramic handle was with mould defects and not nice. We used replaced kettle 8 month and it started to leak (even filled with water till the minimum line). I contacted manufacturer regarding this problem, hope they will help, but is is inconvenience as we cannot use it now. It is dangerous...
