I have used Tanologist self tanners for several years now and like both the water and mousse formulas. However, the Tanologist Firming Daily Glow - Medium/Dark - Toning & Firming Gradual Tan Lotion - is my new favorite. It’s literally like putting in your daily lotion. It’s fast, no gloves needed, don’t have to wash it off. It gradually gives skin a beautiful darker color, it truly does give the skin a healthy glow. As far as firming, I have not noticed that effect but I have only used this for a couple of weeks. Just ordered two more bottles because I like it so much

So I’ve used the Jeurgens (sp?) gradual tanning lotion, that kind usually takes upwards of a couple days-week to really notice an effect. I figured this Tanologist lotion would be similar, but it actually shows up really quickly, same day noticeable color. To me it leans more towards instant tanner, and it does sadly get streaky and orangey like most instant tanners. Should be used sparingly in all the usual spots- elbows, feet, knees, hands/wrists, and be sure to wash hands very well after using or they will be orange.The smell is very noticeable after a couple hours, at first it smells great like tropical, then segues into that familiar DHA smell.As for the firming aspect, I haven’t noticed very much difference, maybe a slight reduction of noticeable cellulite on my thighs, but it’s no holy grail.Overall it’s a pretty good tanner and I’d buy it again, probably in the lighter shade so it’s not so noticeably “fake”.

this is literally the best thing ever. i’ve used it for 4 days straight after i shower before bed and it does not stain at all so far. it also has not broken me out when i’ve used it on my face which is great and it smells amazing. 10/10 i love it.

This will definitely give you some color. It’s a little on the orange side.What I do like about this product is it doesn’t come off on your clothes.

Nearly returned. Just wanted this to gradually tan my belly so it wouldn’t be so white compared to my legs. More like a traditional tanning cream. Did achieve dark color in one application, but tanning smell was present. Not a “gradual tan,” so I ended up a little splotchy. Seems like false advertising to me.
