Dissapointed with CT Sounds SUB QUALITY
5yrs ago I got their mono 500.1 watt Amp. It's great. So 4 years later I bought their Ozone D2 12 with a 1000.1 watt amp. I noticed a smell within a week. 2 weeks later the SUB blew and completely froze and the amp blew as well. Now, I could have used the warranty. However, on the off chance I did something wrong with my wiring I decided to spare myself potential embarassment and chalk it up. 6 months later I buy this set. I hooked it up to the 500.1watt amp. I was MORE impressed with hiw well that little amp pushed these boys. BUT BUT BUT...WITHIN 3 MINUTES I smelled those coils cooking. Same smell as the Ozone. I yanked these subs out and sent it back all within 1hr of getting them. I went with Sundown sub and Sundown Salt amp on same wiring (which nothing was wrong with) and all is well. Don't buy if you're looking for big boom. If you're new to the bass life they would be a great starter set for you. Just be aware around 550 watts they don't like it.
