I recently purchased the TP-Link Tapo C210 camera, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! The picture quality is fantastic, even in low light, and the 360° coverage with pan and tilt is incredibly smooth. Setup was quick and easy through the Tapo app, and the motion detection and notification features work flawlessly.For the price, the features offered are more than enough — two-way audio, local storage support, and even night vision! It’s a perfect choice for home security or keeping an eye on kids and pets.Highly recommended if you're looking for a reliable and feature-packed security camera without spending a fortune.

Updating my review after one month of use. No change in my rating and just updating more prons and consPros1. Good indoor camera for normal use.2. Configuring is easy3.Tapo app is responsive and working good4. Video Clarity is ok5. Sound is ok6. Rotation is smooth , but a very small sound while rotating. A person who is standing near to camera can notice this sound7. Zooming is ok , but no optical zoom8. Night vision is good9. You can add presets and presets are working good. I am specifically telling this because presets won't work well in some other brand cameraz . But for tapo it is working very good.10. You can adjust rotation angle and it is one of the feature missing in other camera.11. Person detection is working well and you can easily differtiate normal motion detection with person detection by a person symbol on thumbnails.Cons1. Cloud storage is expensive2. No optical zoom, only digital zoom. I didn't like zoom clarity compared to other 3mp models. If you want to zoom a large distance , don't take this.i own an ezviz 1k camera and i liked zoom clarity of that than this.3. Can't control the siren as per our will.siren works only in motion detection. So if a small insect is flying , then it will make sound. But we can restrict it to human detection. I always prefer an alarm with a button which we can trigger from app.4. Play back or recorded video in memory card fast-forward option is not via slider. You can select a speed and it will fast forward based on that. But I always prefer a slider for fast-forward.5. Tapo is autorotating sometimes. Not sure why . I don't want this feature.6. One major con I noticed is the wifi network updation . Most of the cameras now a days allow you to change wifi network via app . But for tapo we can't change wifi via app. I can see network selection is ready only field and no action on that.

I am here with price to quality comparison of this product I purchased personally on May 2024 (for 2.5k INR approx)Pros:1: Build qualityGreat; Solid with quality plastic. Can be installed up or downwards.2: Unique features:Standalone AI (differentiates motion by humans, pets, and vehicles) (works great)Line crossing detection (Good but not perfect in my test), Camera Tampering (Works well)Baby crying, Glass breaking, Dog barking, Cat meows detection (not bad but not best)3: Surveillance:Auto or manual pan and tilt with Sound and light alarm.Mobile alerts could be set for human, pet or vehicle detection. But the alarm can be set for one schedule in a 24hrs time period (no multiple schedules per day).4: Video quality:2kQHD or 360P , both at max 25FPS. (Good for indoor use both morning and night) Check samples provided as attached images.5: App:User-friendly stable app and easy setup with the option to control many smart Tapo devices and cameras using one single app.Cons:1: Outdoor use:This is meant for indoor use and hence the night IR is limited compared to its outdoor models. Not waterproof and lacks a cover for microSD.2: Storage:Can be stored only in microSD in the camera, Cloud storage is possible but chargeable. No WAN port.3: Audio:The two-way talk is not that great. The sound is a bit muffled with an echo effect.My thoughts:Being an Indoor camera; I can't complain more about its outdoor effects. But the audio could have been better. Unlike what some people say; the connectivity and app is very good. If you face any connectivity drops; make sure you have a new updated router with quality speed and range.Conclusion:If you need an indoor cam with standalone AI with custom detection; this is one of the best buy from Tapo. Note that its predecessors Tapo C200 and C210 do not have standalone AI but only motion detection. For the price I bought it; I feel it is 90% worth the price with concern only with two-way audio quality. Smart detection is all great and good with decent video quality.Also if I come across any positive or negative that I missed in constant use; I will make sure I add it here later. Although it's an chineese brand, but still it gives far more better things than Indian or other brands, It was easy to setup, Price was also good, built quality is outstanding, picture quality is ok, but Can be used. It detects Perons and motions easily but dog bark, cat and glass breaks are not detected easily by this camera. In last I would conclude that it is a good camera to purchase within the price range obviously SD card would also be costly if you go above 128 GB.

Using it for my flat’s main door.Works fine . Doing exact job what i wanted .. crystal clear speakers for 2 way talk and microphone.Good video quality, easy installation and setup

It is a very good product, its UI is very good and simple even on mobile, the clarity is very good and it is working very well, the regulation is also very good that's all quality impressive

Quality good but connectivity issue

Worth for money ,nearly month I'm using pic quality is good. Only thing that two and flow mic is not working only couple of days it Woking after that suddenly started not working .If noise cancellation is there means this is super product.Overall good
