Basically OEM replacement
This motor oil is what Can Am says is OK. Adding the 1/2 quart makes it just about the right amount of liquid to fill up the reservoir. Perhaps a scooch light, since the paper in the new filter soaks up some, I guess. The "O" ring/washer combo worked out for me. Not much to say but the Can Am factory says its OK, and they give that extra 1/2 so you don't have to find a six pack of oil (good luck) and have a 1/2 used quart laying around.

I use this kit every other oil change in between dealer visits. Surprised that oil is full synthetic. I see most of the others have gone that route
