I already had the Safarai Ltd albino Burmese python figure ... and really liked finding that this green anaconda figuring is in that same scale (about 1/12). From nose to tail, if the curled up figures could be stretched out instead, the python would be 21" long. The anaconda would be 24" long. Making both appropriately large. But, despite being only 3" shorter ... the python's figure is definitely far less bulky than the anaconda ... clearly demonstrating why the anaconda is the biggest/heaviest snake in the world even if it's not the longest. With the exception of the head and tail, the python figure's body width ranges from 3/8" to 3/4" in thickness. By comparison, the anaconda figure's width ranges from 1/2" to a full 1" .... with a higher percentage of it's full length being at that maximum thickness. Making it where the anaconda is nearly twice the mass of the python. So, not just in matching scales lengthwise but also matching scales in overall mass. Then, finishing up the realistic size and proportions with high quality, realistic paint apps. So, while it would be nice if these were poseable instead of static figures .... when given a choice between "bendable construction" and "realistic size, mass, and paints" ... I had to choose these realistic figures. Both ... especially together ... offer great visuals.

I bought this to scare off squirrels in my yard. It does work to some extent. However, they have noticed that the Snake models don't move. So they have become a little less frightened. But they avoid the immediate area where the snakes are placed.On the flip side of the story, a Utility worker came over and entered my property to map out under ground Electrical cables before digging. When he approached the property, at first, he didn't notice the snake located in my flower bed. But, when he saw it, he jumped and totally froze in fear. Then he realized it was just a model. These plastic snakes are very detailed and they have a lot of quality. I only wish they were longer in length and you could manipulate their stance.

I don't like snakes, but this one is perfect. I know, I seen them way too close.
