Used this M+G spf 30 lip balm on a recent 5-day beach vacation and loved it! Works well and feels weightless!

The best lip balm smells great feels good very moisturizing and a little goes a long way. The price is the only issue. If you apply a thick layer it does show up white.

I was concerned the sunscreen would taste like sunscreen (a different brand had an awful taste). I love the original M&G lip balms, this has a nice texture and has a slight minty scent. It is an opaque white color, clearly because of the sunscreen. But the sunscreen taste is barely noticable. I have had a hard time deciding to buy a lip balm with sunscreenI will definitely buy this again.

This stuff works great, but my biggest compliment to the makers is that it doesn't taste like sunscreen! I have never had an SPF lip moisturizer that didn't taste terrible, but this only tastes like a tiny touch of mint, and it tingles too! And no weird/horrible chemical taste, which is honestly so incredible. I stopped using SPF lip care because they all tasted terrible, but this one really doesn't, and it works super well! I was coaching baseball and my lips were getting destroyed. After using this, the problem was completely solved. And again, NO nasty taste! Love this stuff!

First, this is sunscreen for the lips. And that is exactly what it feels like. It's not balmy like a chapstick, so if moisture is your priority, you may be disappointed. I use lip balm all the time; alone or under lipstick. So this was perfect--sunscreen for my lips. Absorbs well; not a greasy or dry feeling on your lip and no weird taste for lip lickers.

I hate the taste ands smell of chemical sunscreens, so I’m always on the lookout for mineral sunscreen lip balm that I can wear over a lip stain and use as a facial sunscreen in a pinch. This is my favorite so far. The texture is light a a bit glossy but without too much shine. It initially comes out of the tube with a white cast from the sunscreen minerals, but almost immediately turns clear after application. It has a pleasant slightly minty, slightly cinnamon flavor/smell. I will definitely be ordering this again!

I bought this knowing SPF lip balms aren't my favorite so this was a gamble. But I wanted something to protect my lips for when I'm at the beach or outside all day. I wouldn't wear it every day since it leaves a slight white cast on my lips. Probably, because it's a mineral sunscreen and I have tanner skin. My daily driver is Aquaphor, but I wanted to try something from Malin + Goetz. I'd say Aquaphor is more for when my lips are severely dry and this one is more for when I need some slight moisturization. Overall wouldn't repurchase their SPF lip balm, but I'd like to try their Mojito Lip Balm instead.

So, this is a wonderful brand, but for me, I live at the beach. It doesn't stay on in the ocean, but it is still good. I would HIGHLY recommend Elta MD. Stays on all day!
