Slightly dissolved when I got home after 7 days. Fish alive but they are minnows and don't need a lot of food.could be that my tank is quite cold and that stopped it breaking up

Killed our fish
I am absolutely gutted. All we did was go away for a weekend,I bought this block to use while we were away. We bought 2 out of our 4 fish when my niece and nephew were staying with us and they named them. The block arrived last week and the next day about an hour before we left I put it in the tank as per the instructions. Within 20 mins 1 of the fish was dead we couldn’t understand why as nothing had changed except for the block being put inn the tank. I said to my husband that I hope it’s not the block that has done it. Anyway we put it down to coincidence although the fish was fine before hand. We arrived back today to find another 2 dead fish. These fish were fine and perfectly healthy before using this block and I now have to tell my nephew his fish died while we were away. I would advise not to buy this if you want to keep your fish alive
