Seiko, the home of the Japanese watches oldest and most prestigious, is now focused on innovation and sophistication. The Seiko watch is designed as a small jewel personal and intimate. The watches are those harmonious with the environment and the wearer, and their functions offer a reassuring and exciting feeling.

Seiko kinetic watch
Watch arrived today, earlier than expected! Just as described and working as it should. These are great watches and never need batteries! What more could you want?

On time with Seiko
Quality made watches, had one for fifty years now and still going strong. I own other Seiko watches which are many years old and all are extremely reliable.

Seiko 5
Good watch. But for the glass back the rating would be 5 star.

Seiko.
Definitely not worth the money.I like Seiko's but this one was a disappointment, the bracelet was cheap and nasty, it gained a minute every hour and after looking on watch forums they said it was a sticking hair spring and to bang it on the palm of your had several times to sort the problem out which it did and it was pretty accurate then.Sop cannot recommend.

Stylish piece that has one of the best dials in the Seiko 5 range, and one of the worst cases
I knew I had to have one of these when I first saw it, I think it's the only model I've seen where Seiko have actually tried to properly balance the layout of the dial, rather than just doing the usual thing of bundling the day and date together, symmetry be damned! Their dogged insistence on including a day complication on pretty much every watch that leaves their factory (sorry, "mąnŭfǻctųrȅ") fully pays off here, being as it not only complements, but also adds to the overall look. The sparsely-placed numerals also lend an Explorer-type feel to the watch, and are a welcome change to the ubiquitous bar indices that have become the lazy go-to of the company's design templates.Sadly there's always a fly in the ointment with Japanese watch design, and in this case it's Seiko's decision to put this well-designed dial into an ugly and unconventional case. The space between the monstrously thick lugs is a paltry 10mm, meaning the chance of changing the strap is basically nil (not that it would look much better anyway). I'd therefore recommend buying another '5' model with a more normally-shaped case, and getting the innards swapped (I went with an SNKL23, but in theory this *should* be possible with any Seiko 5 watch of a similar size, just make sure the model you choose also has the crown at 4 o'clock). Pop it on a black leather strap (I chose a rally one for extra pizzazz) and you have an inexpensive but very stylish watch that's suitable for most, if not all occasions.P.S. The only other real drawback is the legibility in low light conditions. When directly under street lights or other bright light sources, the dial has a tendency to go weirdly blank-looking, making telling the time somewhat difficult. You'd expect the black finish or silver indices to reflect light in such a way that this wouldn't be a problem, but for whatever reason this isn't the case.Regarding complaints from the other reviews:- Sticking movement - This was prevalent on the 7S26B movement. The models currently being sold have the updated 7S26C revision (look through the caseback and you can see it stamped on the rotor), where this is no longer a problem.- Lume only applied sparingly - Very common on watches at this pricepoint (£100 give or take).- Cheap bracelet - See above, none of these bog-standard Seiko 5s have decent bracelets.- 'Watch stops when I'm not wearing it'/'Doesn't keep perfect time' etc. - Do some research on mechanical watches before buying one!!

Good looking watch.
Had it return it as very low luminous in the dark which was the feature attracted me to buy it, as I work night shifts and to be able to tell the time in the dark.
