Worked Like a Charm
Installation was a breeze, I just mounted the hot water heater in the wrong spot making installation the opposite of what you just read. After install, my hot water heater worked just as if I had just installed the unit itself.

Just in case
I bought these to save for when they go out again. The originals lasted for several years. I bought replacements from the company and they don't last any longer than the ones on amazon. So these are waitnig for the next 6 mo change!

Poor Quality
I bought this item in Jan 2025 and 2 out of the 3 heaters have already broken and the 3rd one does not fit as the grooves seem to be off and cannot be adjusted to the base properly. Total waste of money and after only 3 months I have to go and buy another replacement since I cannot return them.

Update: 3/29/24 Just don't last But, Then corrected and honest seller!!!
3/29/24 Update: .The heating elements (2)failed again of 3, and one was catastrophic. One developed a hole (wth) and had a hard short to ground. It sounded like a small explosion. Luckily the circuit breaker tripped providing protection. The units look identical to OEM but, they do not last. 3 to 6 mos of life. The seller did provide replacements the first time.I was optimistic. Worked like originals but, not even 1% the life. 2 are dead.Update: the seller was honest and provided replacements. The new units are working properly. Thanks

Fire Hazzard!
Seemed to stopped working after a week or so. Went to change them again and was shocked to see one element had burned the wires off of it and scorched the entire cover of the unit. Would never buy again. Have to replace the entire unit now. Lucky our house didn't burn down
